I saw my first 360 at a Chicago Motor Show and I must admit it was not very impressive to look at....I saw the next series (ff1 star) at a dealership in Davenport, Iowa...while it was much better, it was still a bit dorky....but now, it is the favorite car in Colorado....it's now a great car for the whole world...this was my first ride in a 360 :) thanks, Chuck btw, I am following a 360 going from Tokyo to Budapest....they redid the car and it is now y ellow :)
+Ashley Pomeroy 2 stroke inline 2, so it does SOUD sporty, but still somewhat scary to rev too high... It has no tachometer which doesn't help if you don't know the car :)
+traxnada I read on the interwebs that you can essentially rev a two-stroke as high as you want since there's no valves to float, so it sounds to me like you can rev it until you throw a rod basically.
traxnada Fine, be that way. I see how it is, that's what a I get for trying to be wise on the internet. I thought it was cool that a two stroke could rev until it's internals explode, but no, that's too normal for you.

@@traxnada yea i have a 1970 360 sedan and i rev it up to redline and it keeps up with traffic pretty well. Mine has oversize pistons, electronic ignition and 2 carburetors and a modified 2 stroke dirt bike exhaust and it will too out around 75mph on flat ground.
@@mikecorleone6797 This one was stock, but most of all, it had no tachometer, so I didn't really have any idea how high it was revving as I never drove it anywhere close to its top speed...
Wow. Subaru has come a really long way since then! Good video of a neat little car. I also post automotive content, feel free to check out my stuff! Btw, I subbed.
Showed this to my WRX and said this is your great great grand daddy....The head gasket blew...
... and its owner is a weirdo who talks to cars.
Only to my car, don't give a shit about other people's cars ;)

Keep the revs up!
neat little cars. not sure what, but definately doing either a v8 or motorcycle engine swap in mine
Invincible Extremes Muscle Cars Garage I've got one, if you can put a v8 in it and still fit inside that would be crazy

Wow that's amazing I love the patina I just have to find one first because they're so rare
It's not patina, it's a brutal paint job, most likely with a roller
Surprisingly sporty engine noise there. Also, it's fun to imagine just how horribly it would be mangled in a head-on collision.

Just Here For The RUclips Ain't that how most engines blow up? :)

+Just Here For The RUclips Well, that's kind of how any engine with no rev-limiter works so I don't really know what to tell you....
am i tripping or this is a two stroke ?
Yes, it is. Subaru 360 is powered by a range of two-stroke twins, from 360 cc to 420 cc.
you guys drive on the left side of the road?
In Japan?? Yes... If it wasn't the case, JDM cars would be left hand drive :)

hi! since how long do you live in Japan?
And how do you get there?

You’re shifting way too low my guy.. remember you only have 15/25hp depending on the model..
Yes, I realized that much later on when I tried other 360cc cars. It just screams so much in there, I had no idea :)
