Love your videos! Being an English girl studying in Belfast often resulted in many assumptions about my background/views, which I'm always set out to challenge. I'm learning a few asian languages, so glad to finally find a useful resource to help me learn Irish. Love the mix of language and culture on your channel, always interesting to learn more about such a beautiful country!
You are very welcome, glad to see that you have found the videos useful and informative and go n-éirí leat with your studies 😊. You can email me at danetyghe@gmail.com if you have any questions.
And mine was that all languages have these differences, the fact that Irish has them should not be some kind of epiphany, as long as we acknowledge that it's all the one language.

In Ulster Gaelic I always pronounced mhaith as in ‘my’ and caint as ‘cantch’
In Scottish English they say aye instead of yes.
@@LearnIrish What's your point? Mine was that there appear to be dialectical differences in pronunciation....
And mine was that all languages have these differences, the fact that Irish has them should not be some kind of epiphany, as long as we acknowledge that it's all the one language.
Me, an English monolingual, getting this in my recommendations: ah yes very nice
You deserve it 👌 RUclips is a wonderful resource for learning and also random recommendations.
Go raibh maith agat!

An bhfuil sé agat?
Ar ghoid tú é orm?
Tabhair ar ais dom é más é sin an cás
😂Níl aon fhios agam!
'AN SCÉALA' ? NA SCÉALA
An scéalaí. Sin é.
@@LearnIrish Great videos - but isn't 'An' singular 'scéalaí' plural?
Apologies it's an scéala, as in a single piece of news. I've never seen it written as na scéala.
@@LearnIrish Thanks! Yes, now I can see 'the latest news' can easily be seen as singular.
