I’m a gardening teacher at a private high school in Connecticut. I bought some of the glads from your collection last year and they’re absolutely gorgeous! People are stopping in the street to comment on how eye catching they are. I wish my dahlias were doing better though, it’s not a complete loss, but all of this rain is doing a number on them. I love making bouquets for our community, thank you for your inspiration Nicole!

Funny story about whistling. I Whistle quite often too so much so that sometimes I don't even know that I'm whistling until somebody says hey you can whistle. One of my best friends told me that her mother had a theory about people who whistled or harmed... It meant they were hiding something. And I told her yes, that's true... The fact that I can't sing! Keep singing babe😊

I am relatively new to your page, and I have to say I absolutely love and enjoy watching you work with flowers! I love the u bring when you’re talking to your viewers. I have been gardening off and on for the last 22 years, but it’s always been vegetables that I’ve grown for my own family. My husband is not an outdoors guy. He is more of a city guy and I’ve always been the outdoors one. I don’t mind getting my hands dirty. We live in West Central Ohio. When I was a single mom several years back I worked on our pastors farm for him and his wife and they have 18 acres and that’s what deepened my love for gardening. It was the most peaceful job I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve always had flowers on our porch or out in the yard but nothing too significant. Then last winter, I was flipping through channels, and I came across a documentary. I watched the Floret Flower Farm documentary on Discovery Plus and absolutely fell in love with Dahlias. This past summer I grew my first dahlias. I wanted to see if I could grow these. The only knowledge I had is from watching different farmers on RUclips who have grown dahlias. I started off with 37 plants in my veggie garden and they all did beautifully. A few weeks back I dug them up and stored them away For the first time ever… I hope that I start them properly lol. I’m wanting to expand and just have a small time farm stand and sell produce and flowers. I’ve had my own business before, I was a pet groomer for years, and I finally got tired of paying 60% of my pay to someone else so I started my own business. But after so many years of being a vet tech and a pet groomer, my body just broke down overtime especially my back. I have some health issues that make working a challenge. I have fibromyalgia, POTS Syndrome not to mention some major back issues. But I am a very headstrong determined person lol at least according to my husband. My husband’s been great about buying me some equipment that makes my job easier when I’m gardening. That makes it easier for me to garden because that’s where I find my peace. But with gardening, I’ve figured out ways that I can still do what I love, even though my body is not in the best shape anymore. So with the idea of having a small flower, and produce farm having popped in my head, I of course went to where there is a wealth of knowledge…. RUclips😂. I mean I did learn about how to grow dahlias off of RUclips and I got a lot of knowledge from other farmers. So watching RUclips, I stumbled across your page and instantly loved how you broke everything down for people. I love the video that you sat down and explained what you went through financially the first year, I really like that video a lot! Just having mentors online to teach those that are trying to get started just really means a lot to people like me. So I just wanted to say thank you for being real in your videos, and always having such an amazing attitude, and keeping it real!!!

Oh my goodness, I keep coming back to this video just to see the beauty in your flowers. You just know how to cheer us up! I ordered a lot of the flowers you mentioned here. Your combo always looks great. When you started whisling, boy did it bring tears out...my dad, who passed away in 2015 always whistled. He was a lot like your grandpa. :( So loving and everyone loved him.

Hi, for hydrangea we use hot water, after cutting put hot water almost boiling in a vase, put some clear 200 from Oasis or other flower food , cut the stem in 4 pieces like a cross put in Quick Dip for 3 to 5 second and after in the hot water. Wait over night or when the water is cold and put clear water again with food. We make this with all hydrangeas even is from our plants or is imported from Holland and Ecuador. Also is work very well with dahlias.❤

I love to see you happy again ❤ You are such an inspiration to so many. The adversity you have dealt with this pass year could put anyone down but you have demonstrated such strength and grace. Never be afraid to take time for yourself, we will always support you Nicole. P.S. 2024 calendar coming soon?

Fur Elise!! 😎 You are the Beethoven of Bouqs!! I learned my Classics from actual vinyl records! A set in particular called "HOOKED ON" CLASSICS, JAZZ, etc. and all other music genres! They were so fun because they had like a beat behind them! You would love them because it makes us dance with classics!! My aunt was a band teacher. Thanks to her I have that appreciation 😊
