It's actually not bad to put them on the way of minions. Especially in your own base. I saw it alot of times in ARAM. The people often avoid the sides while pushing and walk behind the front minions to get to the tower as fast as possible. Even with oracle they often can't react fast enough and are still inside the aoe when the minions walk through.
No matter where they happen, if it's against bots or players, rift or abyss, A Karthus Pentakill is always so very satisfying. Congrats to the player who got that one, had to feel great.
