@@FurioSpinone If it was low the suspension won't take the shock on the car landing again. The west will continue to be distracted trapped in the illusion of propaganda. Cope harder
Yeah, but what happens when the car tries to do this at 200 mph? Or even in a strong headwind? Its effectively a hypercar, which means the underside is smooth for aerodynamics. LeMans drivers have died from air catching underneath the vehicle and literally launching it 15+ feet into the air before plowing into trees. Seeing as how this car jumps nose first, it is inevitable
The video begins with a statement clarifying that it is solely a technical demonstration rather than a functional showcase. BYD claims to be actively researching active suspension systems, with the goal of developing the technology to the point where vehicles can use radar and cameras to proactively scan for potholes on the road. The system would then automatically calculate the distance and adjust the suspension system to slightly lift the wheels, allowing the tires to "skip over" the potholes. This would ensure that the driver hardly notices the process. This is their ultimate goal, while the current version is only an initial demonstration.

I am wondering how it will behave on light or like 15° turns. Nowadays cars can hold such turns at high speeds, but jumping straight at corners might be dangerous. Maybe they will turn off the feature at such cases or maybe will initially turn a bit inorder to stay at the curve
