Sesshomaru is legend. Pure legend. From rejecting humans and his father’s choice to growing to love humans more than himself….i have pure admiration for him. I love them brothers so much and want them to be happy in the end with their families 🥺❤️

The author made the biggest mistake of not introducing Rin to Sesshomaru when she was at least 15. Could’ve made for a wayy better story for the both of them.
or at least have them separated then accidentally meet again when finally rin is a full-grown lady and show the journey as to how he falls in love with her.

After she became an adult, he began to visit her more and more - and they fell in love. Nobles can't marry commoners so He denounced his birth right as "the next dog general of west" and let Inuyasha have the title. As an late wedding/giving birth gift he gave her an mansion with servants (all elderly male youkai servants - he didn't want any female servants) and he was going to let the servants raise Towa and Setsuna - because that's what nobles do - but Rin wanted to raise them herself. Because Kagome/Inuyasha/granny Kaeda (foster mom)/ Sango/ Miroku/ Sango's twins, gave her so much support in growing up in the human village/ falling in love/being pregnant/ child birth - she choose to remain living in the village, to get their aid in raising the twins, instead of living in the new mansion out west. He choose to support her decision.
