I live in southern CA and this homage to its warm, sunny climate for most of the year is as true today in 2023 as it was 58 years ago in 1965 when this classic was released by the Mamas and the Papas. You just have to watch the New Year’s Day Rose Parade in Pasadena, L.A. County to see sunny, clear blue skies and flower full floats in the middle of winter when snow and gray skies blankets most places in the northern hemisphere. Sure, we have our share of problems here as in most other places in the US, but the Golden State is still a good place to live if you like warm climate, and-if you can afford it.
California is an amazing State. I pay no attention to those that see everything wrong in other States but not in their own backyard. Good to hear your outlook.
