As a lady who totally adores Chanel, when I was 16 I knew I was going to buy my Chanel No.5! Now almost 64 year’s I still wear Chanel. But now I’m in the position to buy the exclusive’s whenever I want, I don’t take for granted. I wear my Chanel to bed. My husband died. So I wear it for myself. ❤️

I love your descriptions - only just come across your channel and very new to learning about scents myself. They completely change my mood though, and I find as an autistic person that they can really be a 'safe place' for me. I've tried so few Chanel exclusifs but so far my favourite is Beige as hawthorn is one of my favourite smells but not one I feel is always captured so well (that I have found anyway). Beige seems to really do it justice!

Thank you so much for this video, Chanel also holds a special place in my heart as its my mother's and my grandmother's favourite and No.5 takes me back to smelling it when my mom or grandmother are going out at night. Their daytime scents were cachrel beleive it or not so stark difference! I might try to get them one of the exclusifs, thanks for the suggestions.

I just bought No22 today on vacation in NYC and I really love it! And as a male, I don’t find it overly feminine on my skin at all. Perfectly unisex if you ask me.

I can't say I'm a CHANEL fragrance fan girl myself (my nostalgia is mostly from Dior, thanks to my mother), but i do enjoy some of the pieces you picked here (Jersey was a love at first sniff for me). Loved your description of No. 22. So spot on with the incense!

I love Coromandel. Beige is my favorite (blind buy actually) and Gardenia was my wedding scent.
I love Jersey so much, its classy yet original, very round and well blended, the lavender is not synthetic at all and the vanilla so soft. My top one from the line

I am just now getting my nose on the Les Exclusifs line from Chanel and I adore Misia. Chanel’s Chance Eau Tendre the Parfum is my signature scent from CHANEL but Misia Is a beautiful beautiful scent that works well with my chemistry, it makes me feel like a ballerina in a pink tutu with the satin ballerina slippers and my hair in a perfect bun.

I sure do love Channel 19 Vintage. I think I mentioned that on another video of yours I have had the modern extrait versoson. I also love coromandel. I think the spray is more long lasting than the dabbing method. When I spray coromandel, it lasts for ages. When I dab the extrait (even though it is more concentrated), I have to reapply. .
I think Karl Lagerfeld had a lot to do with keeping the spirit of Channel timeless and relevant.I am sure Virgine Viard will follow suit.
I think you're right, but for some reason the Extrait worked better for me scent-wise. Maybe I can top off with the spray once I've put my pennies together for a bottle :)

No way, I did too. It was my mother’s signature perfume too.. In fact, I use to wear, more like steal a few sprays of Chanel #5 every morning as I headed out every morning to school. I was the classiest and chic smelling student. Yeap, that’s me...🤗 Don’t you think that Bois Des Iles smell a lot like vintage Chanel #5? It’s brilliant! Great sublime choices, all of my favorites. I just bought Chance Chanel EDT and love it! I’m thinking of getting the EDP version but I’m having a debate about getting Bois Des Isle EDP one or Chanel 19 EDP. I want a woodsy notes that owns the room. I don’t want “office” type of perfume. I want where someone will remember your scent type of thing.

We need a video about high end perfume which is less expensive and in the same time have a powerful unique scent and in the same time available in middle east countries like Egypt because unfortunately most of the niche perfume are not available

I sit here wearing Corormandel EDP that I applied two hours ago, and it now barely qualifies as a skin scent. The performance of designer fragrances generally needs to be upgraded big-time. It's time for them to either reduce their ridiculous prices or increase the quality of their ingredients. It's one thing to create a compelling scent. Quite another to turn it into a product worth buying. If performance matters to you, you'd be well advised to confine your purchases to the niche world.

Although these are all considered unisex, I find a lot of this line more feminine, such as no5, gardenia and a few others
I love Chanel on others, particularly women, but have never enjoyed them much on me with the exception of the Allure Sport line. Maybe because of their strength but they become annoying on my skin after a few hours. Many of them, particularly those aimed at men, seem to have a common DNA on dry down I just don't like much.

Sometimes i think about stealing a bottle from the perfume shop,as i am penniless and cant buy it.
You can buy second hand or a dupe. There are many companies that make great dupes: Dua, Juliannas Perfume, Alexandria Fragrances.
I've tried a couple from the exclusive line and the lasting power is terrible, no worth the price. 😒
That is true for many of them sadly. Although my No. 22 and Cuir de Russie are long lasting. The scents themselves though are great. 🌹
Chanel fragrances are extremely overrated to me, those that you mentioned do the nostalgia for me growing up in New York and smelling it on wealthy women at the Opera, but I've never found one I was crazy for...if I found one I liked, it didn't project or last.
