It's also easier to mix the pellets to end up with the color profile that a manufacturer would want, or to end up with the right well blended mixture of recycled and virgin plastic. Plus uniform pellets work better for transporting them around a factory via conveyers, screw lifts and vacuum transport.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to smush all the plastic together into a 2x4x8 mold and pour in epoxy to make beams for cheap building, like dog houses, park benches, homes for the homeless?
Like, cut it up just enough to reduce space, then just enough cheap epoxy.
I do not see why this process is cheaper than making plastic pelletes from scratch, i.e. from chemicals. Seems like this process uses a lot of energy and cheap labor.

They should be subject to random sampling and testing of the effluent, or it needs to be diverted appropriately.
On the other hand, much of Pakistan apparently needs to be rebuilt based on the changing likelihood of flooding, so semi-skilled and skilled personnel have a ton of things to do.
We should have compassion for Pakistan, but they also should also be more cooperative if they want to become a manufacturing hub for the world.
