When I solder/use a heat gun on console repairs I have to remove the battery switch on the motherboard because heat can cause it to burn out / ‘pop’... so in future I would advise you hold your heat gun a tiny bit further away from the casing when doing these sorts of DIY’s, especially near the charging port area 😊 otherwise great video 🌸
I know this is a super late comment and I mean no disrespect by it but she is using minuscule amounts of heat only for a few seconds, it’s like using a hair dryer on a low setting, it’s just warm enough to slightly warm the vinyl decal and make it pliable, not nearly that hot lol 😄
Maybe you can decorate a switch you own with a animal crossing theme! Just an idea!!

September 9th update: I think I’m getting a switch and animal crossing for my birthday which is in less than 2 months eeee!!!
I recomend getting a lite. Buying a lite and two games costs a bit less than getting a regular switch with no games
you can also get animal crossing for free for your iphone/ipad and stuff like that! i don't know if it is available on androids
@@alayakow I recommend getting a standard switch because you can connect it to the tv, it's not that much more expensive or bigger and you can detach the joycons. You also get your money's worth over time.

Malica Hamilton the heat gun? It blows hot air which melts the glue to make it softer and easier to move around, u can use a hair dryer:)

I loved how specific you were with the getting the skin as perfect as you could. I’ve only seen people just basically slap it on and do a couple adjustments and call it good but you really did the skin justice 💖

I just bought the special edition animal crossing switch last week and I've been playing on it FOR A WHILLEEE and after seeing this I just bought the coral pink lite Nintendo online! Im hopping i can apply one of the cases you added at the end cause there soooo frickin cute and i already have the paw print grips from my animal crossing switch so ill use the pink and white for it! I cant wait to get this too! last thing is that I heard that the lite is perfect for traveling and i do a lot of driving to states with my grandmother!

I'm not fan of putting customize stickers on the switch but gurl, she nailed it by putting it perfectly at amy angle and its so satisfying, for me the case is a bit too much, its cuter with just a clear case in my opinion

This is the cutest makeover of a nintendo switch I've ever seen
Beware guys! I remember reading somewhere that the adhesive used one some Switch skins can stick over time and damage your Switch's cover! I'd recommend probably not using them at all, find some other ways to customize your switch. But if you still want to, do some research on what adhesive is used on the skin you want, find out what types stick and what doesn't.

So cute! Just here’s a protip for amateur Switch owners-if possible, get a screen protector ASAP! One of my friends broke their Switch screen in the first week of owning it just from dropping it on carpet, and as it didn’t have a screen protector they didn’t get a refund.

It’s only a sticker that they need to remove, which is pretty easy with a heat gun. The rest is detachable.
They don't remove them. My joycon repair came back with the Zelda skin in tact. Legit fix and not replace
