My Cookie singing to his Mirror, did you know that mirror is not good for Budgies? Unfortunately, my cookie spends a lot of time with a mirror, so he becomes scared of other Budgies. Luckily, now he is friends with my new English Budgie, and I still, love his mirror too.

I was watching reruns of Law and Order CI and Stephen Colbert popped up so I did some research on the year it came out only to stumble upon this quote, “Oh, and Vincent D’Onofrio gets all up in Stephen’s face and does his weird little parakeet-with-a-mirror thing:”. I didn’t know what that meant so I looked it up and found this and I’m so happy I did. 😂😂😂 The reference is so perfect yet so obscure and oddly specific. Now I want to get a parakeet and name it Bobby Goren.

Hi, today is the 8th. May 2021 and I just bought my first two budgies. A male and a female. They are quiet, not eating or drinking and I think they are sleeping. But then I heard them chirping. There is a smaller bird nearby. The bird has a long beak, the bird that sucks flower nectar.

Quick question: if I shouldnt stick my hand inside of my budgies cage for the first 2 weeks or so, how am I supposed to give hime food, water, fruits and veggies etc?
actually, that's a good question! Give him food and water just as you would like if he was yours for a few years, but this time open the cage very slowly and talk to hi like he's a very egotistic 5 year old (keep in mind not to talk to him like a baby)

PLEASE answer.
One of my budgies is sick :( We are taking her to a vet on Tuesday, she hasn’t been as energetic as she used to be. Her feathers have been fluffed up all weekend. And her poop has been a dark dark green and really watery. But we couldn’t get an appointment until Tuesday, I’m very scared and worried for her health as she was my first budgie. She looks just like cookie just a little bit younger
I have a question about my budgie, I just got him a few weeks ago. It has been going great and we have getting along great. He has began to let me pick him out of his cage and play with him. But yesterday, when I tried to take him out he aggressively snipped at me. He has been doing that ever since. Why? Will he ever get comfortable with me again? Please help :(

Zelink 124 budgies are cute and all, but they are very loud and need a lot of attention! If you ever get a bird make sure to do your research and listen to the people you get them from! :)

Hey guys, my dad found a budgie in our apartment building and we noticed he was missing a foot. We gave him a strawberry and some water and seemed to like the water a lot more than the strawberry. Hes trying to fall asleep, but idk if we should just let him go.
Hey Alan! Do you have any tips? My 3 parakeets don't usually fight, but my bird Lizzie cut her foot open somehow, and the only suspect was Lollipop, because she had blood on her beak, but her beak wasn't hurt. There was blood everywhere from Lizzie's foot, and I had never had anything like this happen before, so I panicked a little. I put Lizzie into the little travel cage, then it stopped bleeding, but I have no idea how to clean her foot, if I need to. She's not in as much pain as she was, but her foot is still all red. Or if anybody who is a budgie expert that comes across this comment. Oh! And what pretty sounds you have there Cookie! 💞
