    ...😮 sooo Greg was basically up the creek w/o a pedal(drive) OR a paddle. I presume that was when he lost his fishing pole. Glad he's ok and all turned out well. In a while, over a cold beer, or whatever, this will turn into a "Hey! You remember when blah, blah blah..." and ya'll both will grin at each other. THAT is why we do these things. Good trip, good memories, GOOD FRIENDS! Ya'll are blessed. good video also. 👍😊❤️🤣🙀🎣

    It's funny how as I sit here on the couch eating Ham, you pull out some to cook. Looks like an awesome trip.

    What tarp did you use on this trip

      Well it's kind of funny, I've been looking for a smaller 8x8 taro but couldn't find what I wanted. I ended up going with a 7x8 Gold Armour Ground Cloth. It's actually worked out really well and I'm surprising doesn't leak!

    What kayak do you use? I'm a heavy guy & need something with 350# capacity, but doesn't weight more than I can lift.

      I use the Ascend 12T, it is heavy though. Around 78 lbs. You might look into the ascend H10. I believe it's got a 450 lb weight rating and is a hybrid kayak/canoe ! I believe it weighs around 56 lbs.

      @@ReWyldOutdoors thanks. My 10' sit-in is very light, but I can't load camping gear without going over.

    I really want to River Camp with my paddle board. It just seems difficult to figure out the logistics lol. Where did you launch from and end the trip at?

    • @ReWyldOutdoors
      @ReWyldOutdoors  Год назад +1

      We launched at Hollingsworth Bluff and took out at hwy129 Bridge! I wouldn't leave my vehicle overnight at Hollingsworth Bluff! If you can get someone to drop you off and pick you up, that would be best! Logistics can be tough, but it's fun! Just be careful and give yourself plenty of time to find a campsite that isn't on Posted land! It can be tough!
