I built my 450L some time ago. Haven't flown it. Every time I tried to take off it would quickly flip over. Lost a few blades. I have some time now and would like to get this thing another shot. There are 2 pots on the 3GX that I don't recall the instructions mentioning. There both set at 50%.
I think the difference in the tail hub/grips is that they now have thrust bearings. I'm trying it out on my normal 6s Pro along with the longer -- 68mm -- tail blades.
By the way, do you have any tips and tricks on the linkage balls that go into the aileron and pitch servos. From what I have heard, once the linkage balls are installed, these are offset and are difficult to link to the DFC links...
Hey could you tell me... is the vertical stab ( the one with the white boarder ) any taller than the stock pro stab? The new hub + the 68mm blades are awfully close to the ground on my regular Pro. Thanks much! Im having trouble getting my gain's correct. What gain is in your control and what settings for the ar7200bx did you use. I would be grateful for any help

I was wondering if you can give me some tips on how to weight down the nose. I didn't find heavier batteries than my 2200Mah 3s 55c Gens Ace. I tried re positioning them it didn't help that much.

Its really your choice i owned both, the 450 l is a little cheaper to fix but for the price they both are right now i would buy the 500 pro its easier to see and 10 times more stable and its a rocket ship
I just bought a dominator L and they sent me a Tenergy 2200 mah, 11.1 V 25 c item # 31280 battery to go with it, I got the 6 cell dominator will the battery run in it or should I just by another one I don't want to burn anything up, Thanks we love your video's!!

Odd question... Does it crash well? I am getting this heli and i dont plan on crashing, but it always happens somehow. What i'm asking is when it hits the ground does it completely come apart, or does it just bend this way and that? On some of my bigger helis, they crash well, while on others, its almost as if a mini bomb went off inside of them.
Hey Ray I took ur advice and got one of these question for u I have 1200 mah batteries and I'm doing 5 minute flights when I charge the batt it only charges around 770 mah so does that mean I should be flying longer? I'm just learning so I'm mostly doing orientation
+Luis Cardona when you start to fly the cells should start at 4.20 per cell and when you land they should be at around 3.80 per cell so you used 40 percent of the battery.

+Sanimir Dizdarevic you would have to use the longer tail boom and torque tube from the 6 cell model also to prevent the main blades hitting the tail blades
T-rex 450l 6s dominator tail linkage rod problems... I'm building this helicopter and have just one thing left, the tail linkage rod, but the problem is the two ball links there.Ihave manged to mix them with other sizes and the manual doesn't say what number there shall be on the two... anyone?

The 3gx was garbage get rid of it thats why they don't make them anymore.
I can replace it with the next generation Align controller?

Can this heli use the 6s Fat Packs? ... or does it need the longer skinnier type? I'm all stocked up on the Fat ones... lol.

i loved the visibilty of the fuselage but got rid of mine because it through off the way the heli handled honestly

yes but you would only get about a min of flight time and no power would be good for maybe a quick test hover only

tough question all depends on the type of crash and if you can hit thottle cut .

i know the motor is different 3200 kv and 1800 kv the esc is the same and 325 blades and 360 blades the boom might be shared i think your right.
