    Please explain how did you assume the value of Reactive power in this example
    Also generally the PF is indicated on the existing electricity bills, one can calculate the Reactive power working backwards , however the Active power should be variable as the load requirements vary throughout the day , then is the MDI to be taken as the value of Active power to do the calculations

      ​@@solarfacts4242I thought the same because the variable is only active power, KVar is fixed so the angle would not be as per 22.9KVar in your example.

    Hello sir, main ek ZED cum DG sync solar plant lagana chata hu, but termination point kaha pe kare , jisme plant Grid or DG dono se operate ho. Aur power factor ki upor koi effect nehi ayi

    Raman Ji if the MDI has not fallen much after solar installation but the PF has come down from 0.99 to 0.54 will the APFC work in controlling as per the termination method u suggest. Earlier the industry has been using capacitors to maintain PF constant at 0.99. No APFC was their.

    Sir, our solar panel meter show 0.99f but in main meter of grid distribution occur of pf show 088 pf. Sir, will there be solution if we connect solar system before apfc panel ?

      if you terminate solar plant output before APFC you will get the resolution

    we have an installation of 15kw GTI , when GTI is connected the PF goes down to 0.6 in EB meter , when it is removed /disconnected , PF goes above 0.95 .APFC panel is not installed at site . Kindly Suggest how can we solve this issue , as before solar installation customer site PF was well above 0.9. Pl guide

    APFC sense Power factor not running KW, if our plant will run in in 40 Kw at that time if power will down APFC will charge therre rest of all capacitor bank i guess

      Sir you are correct I think we both are saying the point with different different angle, I am saying ACFC sense load and if load change then power factor will automatically change because of load behaviour.

      I think Your gess is right.. APFC panel operate on PF only not sensing on load (kW)

      @@solarfacts4242 ok sir. Thank you for your quick response sir... We installed solar in our industry and bidirectional meter not yet installed by EB. We don't have APFC... We have installed capacitors by individual loads. So PF is affected while running in solar power. I thought installing a bidirectional meter would solve this issue...

      There may be chances that load in the industry is mix of resistive and capacitive.
