Being a doggy nurse can be so time consuming. I have had several with cancer and one with DCM. Very worth it though to give them their best shot. Prayers your girls do well.
Congrats Teresa on getting your Wipgo caught up! That is an amazing accomplishment. I feel like I'm always trying to get caught up in my quilts or stitching. Lol. So, so happy for the good news on bonbons. Happy stitching. ❤❤
Hi Teresa! Really enjoyed your update! It always amazes me how you can keep up with all those WIPS. I have only five on the go but it still frustrates me at times - it's like nothing will ever be completed! 😅😅😅😅
Great progress on your projects. Since hearing about MayMaynia from you this past weekend on your livestream, I've decided to do a new start each Monday. That's 5! Plus, one for my birthday, which is May 25th. So, 6 new starts! Eeeeek! I am excited and scared all at the same time, LOL. I think I will need WIPGO next year for sure. I had a Sheltland Sheepdog with a luxating patella. He had the surgery and did really well. The thing that bothered him the most (after the immediate post-op pain) was being super itchy when the fur started to grow back on his shaved leg. Our vet recommended Gold Bond powder, which helped a lot. Wishing Bon Bon and her sister smooth procedures and easy recoveries.
Happy belated birthday sweetie! Hope you had a wonderful day. Look at you with all the starts lol. Thank you for the tip on the Gold Bond powder - I will have to get some of that ;)
Teresa, so great to hear from you; I always enjoy my time with you. You are such an amazing stitcher - so many projects I wouldn't attempt. I get the let down!!! I planned my daughter's wedding and Yes - major let down - kinda like now what am I supposed to do with my time? GREAT news about Bonnie. You are a great puppy Mum! I know you're sorting out what to do and didn't ask for advice.... but she says... I think getting Honey spayed whilst Bonnie's leg / tooth surgery at the same time is the way to go. Hugs from Arizona! to you and the girls.
how do you decide on how to stitch a piece? 1 over 1, 2 over 1, tent stitch, etc? I'm in the process of kitting up my first full coverage piece. I am looking at an 18 count aida easy guide/magic guide fabric.
Teresa, what fabric are you using for evening in the park and if you could share your fabric choice and size? If you could share where you hit your fabric also I would be grateful. Love watching you every time I can. Than you. Denuse
Congrats on getting your WIPGO caught up - you should definitely do it the way that works best for you. Lovely seeing all your progress and plans. QUESTION please - what are all the short lengths in your full coverages?
Hey Sandi, So long lengths are my parked threads and the shorts are my ended threads. I leave them a little further away and once I have stitched a block over them then I cut them off, this makes sure they are secured.
Love your videos. That’s such good news for your Bon Bon. I hope all surgeries goes smoothly. Well done on getting up to date on your WIPGO. I’m also going to the Bella Filipina retreat. Looking forward to meeting you and seeing your Bella WIPs 👠👠
Afraid I am not that talented lol! I lovely flosstube friend knitted for me - I think it is called love note jumper. I would love to learn to knit, but I don't know anyone local that could help me when I get stuck and not enough time. I would not like to give up too much stitchy time to do my knitting - guess I will have to wait until I retire lol.

do test stitching of a 10 x 10 block with a lot of colour changes and see what way was easiest and looks the best.
