I never use the contrast slider to increase it instead I go into photoshop create a copy layer in B&W as an overlay and adjust the opacity down to where it looks right. Then can mask the layer and create a doge and burn effect for the contrast through masking plus even using multiple B&W layers and giving them different other settings along with masking. It’s much more precise than the contrast slider in Lightroom
