Not sure and don’t care about anyone else’s opinions but this video is 100% the best edited video you’ve ever posted. And well defo one of the best karting videos I’ve watched 💯!!!! Great work man. Also please come to the super unpopular track- TeamSport Mitcham Not very long straights or variable corners but very technical.
Yh Perico I think it would be great for you to come to mitcham as there aren't very many vids of it. I also have heard that the cadet national champ is from there🤷♂️
Incredibly well raced from everyone involved, I had no idea it was this close! You've outdone yourself yet again with the best video you've ever put on this channel, and I am so glad to be a part of it. I think we need Coventry Round 4 next year... 😉
It's been a privilege, my dude, thanks for the kind words ❤️ Cov round 4 is absolutely on, so long as you don't try to banana-peel everyone in the pit bend again 😂
Such a good video yet again. Speech at the end was incredible. “To feel that I’m half decent at something” I felt that. Glad you’re doing well. Keep it up.
Gotta agree, this was the best race I've done and definitely your best video yet, it was incredible to finally bring everyone to what's effectively been my second home for the past 2 years and it be such a banger of a time too, you're a legend both on and off track so to call you a friend is an honour, as much as it hurt to loose the win in such a silly way I'm glad I lost it to you after such a wicked battle, plenty more to come next year man, I'm coming for Teamsport P1 brick-based revenge 💙🏎
That first win is a great feeling, I was never big into karts but I went to a place in Tennessee called Ultimate Karting, at the time they were the fastest rental karts I've been in, they have 2 sets and you have to run the slower ones first then get to move to the faster karts which are like 45mph. It's an outdoor track and it has 3 pretty long straights and some fast sweepers, but most of the track is really tight with a lot of hairpins and sharp 90s. I got to start front row because I was alone, and it was a big group together filling the rest of the grid. The first race in the slower karts I didn't know the track aside from seeing the map, so we go down the first long straight into a 90 degree left, I let off a little going into the turn and the throttle completely cut out and I lost like 4 positions lol, turns out something was up with my kart, if you lifted the throttle even the slightest bit it would completely kill the throttle until you let all the way off and then got back on it. So, I had a bad race until I figured out that I could ride the whole track wide open but by that point I was 11th and only ended up back in p8. Then race 2 we got in the fast karts, I had front row again, that time I went into that first left 90 wide open, held the lead and even though the karts were faster, I pretty much held it wide open for the entire track each lap. Like 2 laps in I guess there was a pileup so they cut the power to everyone's karts, since I was p1 mine cut out first and I was basically just idling and barely moving forward, well everyone else's kart didn't cut out until they reached the same point where mine cut out at, so it bunched us back up. When we went green again p2 stuck with me for a lap or 2, I finally got away from him and then had a gap and clean track for 3-4 laps and was wide open skidding through hairpins and putting in what felt like perfect laps. Ended up lapping everyone except for the guy in p2 but he was back in sight by the end. It was fun racing even though I only really got to battle when I was passing groups of back markers, I got to see a few of them spin out though and I never got bored because I was on the edge of spinning myself throughout the whole race. It was the first time I raced karts of that level against people I didn't know, it was way more fun than typical karts in America and I was hooked after that. I live in Georgia and we have Atlanta Motorsports Park here which is a really nice kart track with fast rental karts, they also have days where people can bring their own racing karts, watching the shifters race there is awesome they go so fast around that track, and it has a lot of elevation change.
Some of the best karting content, youtube has seen has come from this channel, and i truly respect it, you have helped me cook in my races. Love your content. Keep it UPPPPP!!
I have been watching you for quite a while now and am an avid kart racer myself. This was your best video yet and fantastic driving from everyone. Keep it up Perico, you're going places.
Probably one of the greatest videos yet 👏 👏, that last bit touched my heart, its been amazing to see you grow throughout the year, keep up the brilliant performance and Happy Holidays 💙
should you do a movie??? this editing is CRAZZYYYY YOU HAVE DEFINITELY IMPROVED DAYUM also consider joining a tournament it could be fun and good content
LETS FUCKNG GO, PERICO HAS DONE IT ONCE AND FOR ALL 🎉 also it is nice hearing that karting has done so much for you and i can see how this win might have actually changed your life in a way. Well done man you’ve come so far and you deserve every single 24,400 subscribers you have! Love your content man, I’d love to see you videos evolve in the future and maybe we can see some international/ personal karting stuff?
I love your videos and your editing style and carting is also a relaxing time for me I also feel your joy about gocarting keep doing what you are doing :)
Amazing man. Love your content and this is truly a masterpiece. Congrats on the win🎉 And as an extra piece of encouragement; thank you for doing the same for me as what karting and this win did/meant for you. It might be a bit of a crooked comparison, but it makes sense for me😊 Please keep this stuff going
Well done mate 🎉 I can feel the words at the end so much, love to see that one can get out of these dark places. If you ever want to hop on a race in Germany hit me up 😂
Congrats Perico! That race was well deserved and your editing has definitely improved so much! Have you and your family a merry Christmas and to more race wins coming next year😉
love your story making, naration and explanation of everything going on... great footage and great video.. you have a subscriber and now i need to get down fast lane or teamsportStoke again apart from the occasional stag do i aint raced in years..... maybe 2025 i can put some time in.. thanks for the motivation :)
Congrats, love your videos and hope 2025 will be another geart year for you and your youtube friends with karting videos Happy Holidays and Happy New Year everyone!!!!
well done man first video ive seen and was very well edited, also completely understand the headspace boost that racing gives i went thru the same thing and have gained friends and even some actual money off of cart racing now keep it up
P2 was insanely quick!!! TS Cov is my local (kind of, it's 40mins away) and I have been struggling to get into the 42's. Getting a 39 is mind blowing. Although, like most places, the karts have their own identity. Did 3 x 15 session in one evening, 3 different karts, every single one of them felt different to drive. The one I ended up liking the most had F ALL brakes 0-90% and then the last 10% I had stopping power 😂 loved it to be fair.
Well done perico what an amazing defence!! I’m glad you’ve finally found something that brings you happiness, I was in the same place a couple years back with my mental health, and since I’ve started karting I’ve been much happier. Also what camera do you have, I’ve been searching for a decent 360 degree camera and have they same helmet as one of your friends (mt helmet blue with yellow lines through it) and would like some advice from a pro like you, one day I wish to have the amazing group of friends that you do and have my own Channel. Sorry it’s a long one but thanks for your time :) Ps hope you had a great Christmas!!
Oh also how do you get into public race sessions with actual starts and a set number of laps and trophys, i can only book for a 15 min race session time trial. Also I don’t have the friends to book a stag-do event :(
I'm glad that karting has helped you in the same way it helped me! The 360 camera I'm using is called an Insta360 X2, and the races I'm competing in are 50 lap races run at TeamSport tracks, you can book onto them at will
Bit of feedback for future races if you know you have a faster driver behind you, you could work together to get P1 then fight it out then instead of losing time by fighting. Other than that u did amazing 🎉🤙
Gday mate, nice video! Kept me hooked the entire time, giving me the motivation to improve (especially since I'm very rusty and I have a friendly family contest next week) so, got any tips to for me which help in a general basis?
These karts really need side mirrors, so you can see who’s behind you and defend your position and plan to close out attempts to pass without risking full sending them into the Barrier because you didn’t see how close they were
what a incredible year and what a race! if i was you i would try to do one round of club 100 as it is a very good series to race in with some of the best karting drivers in the country, or head down south to tracks like buckmore park, which their championship have some great drivers in and brentwood karting, quite a small and unknown track but every single british driver at the sodi world finals drives primarily at this track. Hope to see the best from you in 2025!
Perico I have always enjoyed Karting when Its been organised with my work. I would like to do it more but how would one go about this can I just turn up at a teamsport and start Karting? Or is there more to it?
Nope, that's all there is to it! You can book on at any track via their website or app, and most TeamSport tracks host 50 Lap Race events on Saturday and Sunday mornings that anyone can sign up to. They are on at like... 8 in the morning though, so they're a bit early 😂
You need to come to the members night they are so fun and if your lucky there will be like 4 people at the same skill level as George and as I said they are always so fun
PERICO YOU ABSOLUTELY COOKED
Edit: anyone else notice that at 0:20 perico cheekily flashed P1 for like 1 frame lmao
❤

Best video yet, so proud of you! Thanks for opening up at the end that was a real inspiration to get me more into karting.
Much love!

Great work man.
Also please come to the super unpopular track- TeamSport Mitcham
Not very long straights or variable corners but very technical.
I appreciate that, man, I worked hard on this one! I'll definitely end up giving Mitcham a go at some point as well!
Yh Perico I think it would be great for you to come to mitcham as there aren't very many vids of it. I also have heard that the cadet national champ is from there🤷♂️
@@amanze_36racing yeah amanze that’s what I was thinking. The only bigger vids on it are old ones from Dante and Kay karting.
@@PericoKarting Nooo only took you two months
Incredibly well raced from everyone involved, I had no idea it was this close! You've outdone yourself yet again with the best video you've ever put on this channel, and I am so glad to be a part of it.

You ran an amazing race, I had to give it my all to keep you behind me!
Such a good video yet again. Speech at the end was incredible. “To feel that I’m half decent at something” I felt that. Glad you’re doing well. Keep it up.

It's been a privilege to race with you this year, man, and I'm looking forward to a legendary on track rivalry next year!
the hang loose stated at 3:54 was indeed diaBOLICAL (we never saw the hang loose and I had nothing else to comment 😂)

Yeah, that's the peril with rentals, to be honest, no two karts are the same. Number 6 was my GOAT though 😂
Great vid as always Kyle, you smashed it :)
Thanks a ton!
LETS GO PERICO! 🎉
perico is a 34.783 second lap good around teamsport harlow. amazing video btw good luck next year
Quality mate!
Wow just wow I’ve been watching since this year in march and I have loved every video. Also track recommendation for 2025 is Gosport I could join you
legendary 'hamilton brasil esque'
Another quality video by a quality youtuber

teamsport coventry is so fun
Wow just wow
Bit of feedback for future races if you know you have a faster driver behind you, you could work together to get P1 then fight it out then instead of losing time by fighting. Other than that u did amazing 🎉🤙
I don't think he had any interest in working together, and George was so fast that if he got past me, there's no way I'd get past him again 😂
Gday mate, nice video! Kept me hooked the entire time, giving me the motivation to improve (especially since I'm very rusty and I have a friendly family contest next week) so, got any tips to for me which help in a general basis?
high as balls almost cried to a karting video
Hahaha you wouldn't be the only one, I had a tear in my eye putting it together at one point 😭
This video was a cinema.
A compliment of the highest order!
good race
Somebody call gordon ramsay because this guy can COOK
The girl with pink hair is super cute, but yeah, congrats dude :)
These karts really need side mirrors, so you can see who’s behind you and defend your position and plan to close out attempts to pass without risking full sending them into the Barrier because you didn’t see how close they were
nah the lack of mirrors makes it more fun lol
Good job love from America we may be better in most ways your karting may be a bit better
Greatest video yet. Btw they've got electric karts at Birmingham
HE DID IT
You should travel to the US to try K1s now track in Columbus it looks like a transport one there
Congrats on the win you did an amazing job
Man, this is one hell of an end to this year. Here's to the next one!
Yes my favourite RUclipsr uploaded 🎉🎉
You are the goat maybe u should try teamsport Harlow. Good luck if you can get as many as overtakes as you did here as that track is so so small.
I love Coventry so much it's just a shame that their Karts let them down. 🙏Definitely needs a new fleet 🙏
what a incredible year and what a race! if i was you i would try to do one round of club 100 as it is a very good series to race in with some of the best karting drivers in the country, or head down south to tracks like buckmore park, which their championship have some great drivers in and brentwood karting, quite a small and unknown track but every single british driver at the sodi world finals drives primarily at this track. Hope to see the best from you in 2025!
Outdoor tracks like Buckmore and Brentwood are a guarantee as soon as I can get my car on the road!
@ OH YESSS I MIGHT SEE YOU OH MY GOD OH MY GOD
bro you need to do a 24 hour race, please !!!!
Absolutely beautiful video, congratulations. I’ve just started making content and aim to be like you someday.
Thanks for watching! Best advice I can give to new content creators: "make the kind of video you would want to watch" 😁
Please go teamsport Basildon, I always go there so it would be so cool to see you experience what I do every weekend.
Come to crawly next
what a MAN peak content bro
great content. this is brilliant , why dont you try pro karting in rotax or club 100??
I may give that a go one day if I ever get the money!
Hello perico, what is that kart at the start where you kept stopping, as i have an champs race tonight and i want to know which one i should avoid
That kart was Kart 6. Although I suspect this information is a little late now 😂
Perico I have always enjoyed Karting when Its been organised with my work.
@PericoKarting don't mind early mornings. Looks like I will give it a go and try not to be one of those drivers, lol
You need to come to the members night they are so fun and if your lucky there will be like 4 people at the same skill level as George and as I said they are always so fun
I'll come to a few members nights as soon as transportation is less of an issue for me!
Mate u should go to TeamSport Basildon its very good
4th episode I have asked for TeamSport Sheffield
Hey perico you should go to Teamsports Crawley its a very great track
Didn’t watch it yet but im gonna assume your gonna send someone to the shadow realm
Well yes, but actually no
I need to know something when i graduate I want to start doing this but how and where

Let this man drive in rotax
Roboquest and rental karting was not the cross over I was expecting to round out 2024
The music just fits so well 😭
