Visually, this is truly a stunning basement. There is a lot to see, interact and simply enjoy. It’s a cozy-looking escape, a world of it’s own. This is why houses with basements are always amazing to have.
Frank, you’ve done a helluva great job.
Much appreciated. Thank you for watching. The extra space is definitely a bonus.
Being from Detroit area,Absolutely Love the 'Strohs Beer' sign. Detroit's finest "Fire brewed" Beer ..🥰
Stroh’s is from Detroit? I had no idea.
@@moonytheloony6516 They were originally. The Brewery in Detroit closed like 35 years ago I believe the Strohs brand is owned by Miller brands now??
I used to like Strohs. Seems like it disappeared around here in the 90s sometime. I am going to have to keep my eye out for it again.
@@Channel33RPM yeah, that was around the time the Company went bankrupt. In the past few years, whomever owns the Strohs brand, rereleased the original formula in the distinctive brown bottles/yellow label in limited quantities. I had some, and it tasted just like it did in the 70's-80's, but I'm not sure it got a wide release. Love, the bar BTW....
You’re so gd Canadian, I can’t stand it!! 😂 Authentic AF to the extreme. Thanks for giving us a peek behind the rest of your very awesome hangout space. You did a phenomenal job putting it all together. Love love love it!! ❤️
Haha, thanks Dan!
You could have a family reunion, Frank! Jim Beam, Jack Daniels, and Old Grand Dad.
Fantastic tour Frank! Such a great pad to hang!! However… I’ll be honest. The thing that blew my mind the most that I wasn’t expecting was the 2 utility sinks in the laundry room! So jealous!!!!
Haha, glad you like it dude. I never knew why the former owner installed 2 sinks. Seems like one more than we need??? I would have used the space for storage.
Nicely done. Looks like a great space to kick back and have a little fun.
Brilliant setup Frank. Need to get some single malt scotch for that Bar Shelf. My setup is similar but my kids have a band so 1/3 of my basement is a video game room/jam room with a full size drum kit, guitars amps and mikes. Still leaves plenty of space for my Single Malt bar, vinyl collection, tv etc. May send some photos in for Vinyl Dens submission one day if I ever get around to it. Enjoy your space, looks amazing!
Thank you. Sounds like a great set up you have.
I was helping a band as a roadie for a gig once back in the 80’s when they opened a club show for Joan Jett. I got to meet her but she was so intoxicated I didn’t think she would be able to do the show. They taped lyrics all over the stage for her. She was a bit sloppy but the show went on.
Thanks!!! I was really impressed with the conversion. I didn't expect it to turn out that well.
To my brother from another mother; when I spotted the bottle of Grand Marnier on your bar shelf I knew we were kindered spirits!
A retro audiophile and music collection addiction with a healthy appreciation of vintage electronics. Ahhhh, I have arrived in heaven, lol. Please don't ever stop.
Having your wife accompany you in previous videos was the perfect touch.
Thank you! Haver a great weekend.
Frank
Looks amazing Frank. Thanks for showing this. Enjoy.
Thanks man! Always nice to see you pop by. Hope all is well in Spain.
I love your movie posters Frank! What a place to hangout and chill, the ultimate entertainment room all wrapped under one basement... 😍😍😍
So jelly!!!!! And don't forget, every time you paint the World Headquarters, it gets smaller!
Haha, true! Little by little the room is getting smaller, and smaller...
Your basement looks great Frank. You’ve done a really good job on the bar area. I’d love a music room like that!!
Thanks. Much appreciated.
8:50 That is such a great movie poster by Drew Struzan for John Carpenter's 'The Thing' which, like you, is definitely one my all-time favourite sci-f/horror movies.
Aside from having the movie on Blu-ray, I also have the soundtrack on LP as well as CD; both of which were quite rare at the time with a wonderful, creepy score by legendary composer Ennio Morricone, but the soundtrack is not typical of Morricone's style (Spaghetti westerns, 'The Mission', 'The Untouchables'. 'Cinema Paradiso', 'The Hateful Eight', etc.) and one can definitely hear John Carpenter's "thump-thump" synthesizer influences (kind of like Michael Myers visits Antarctica'). :)
Hi Frank thank you for the tour and letting me in your lovely home/ man cave. Beautiful and enjoy in great health. God bless.
Cheers Tino.
Holy Mancave Batman!!!
So much dad energy.
Absolutely fantastic setup Frank 👍
You both must be really pleased with it !
Thank you. Yes, I love the space. The kids like it too - they call the bar the 'snack shack'.
Very nice! Great family space! Enjoy!☠️🏴☠️
Awesome setup. Great idea to turn the storage room into a bar. My dream basement. ☺👍
Thank you. Now to figure out where to put everything that was in the storage room.... :)
Nothing but class Frank....thanks for the invite into your home." Have a drink on me"..keep rocking brother 🤘
Thanks dude!!! You keep rocking as well! \m/
Dreame basement! Only a few comicbooks are missing for perfection!
Very nice Frank, you have talent. Love the area where the bar is and the movie room itself. It all looks very well designed and clean without any clutter. I like it a lot. Thanks for showing it was fun to see.
Much appreciated, Robert. I'm an "everything in its place" kinda guy. There is enough chaos out there - don't need it in my space, haha.
Great spot to listen, watch and drink buddy! Looks great. And it means so much more when you do it yourself.
Thanks Corey.
Cool hang out space! You got me jealous.
Very cool living area looks comfortable for family and friends great job on the bar!
Thanks!
heck yeah that Motley Crue 1987 Girls Girls Girls Tour was awesome.
That's awesome Frank. I'm finishing my Theater Room in a few weeks! I'll show ya some pictures when I'm done!
Awesome. Have fun getting er done!
Looking good my friend looks like a good place to chill love the horror posters poltergeist and Haloween are definitely one of Mt favorits
Amazing rooms! Thanks for sharing.
Detroit Beer! The Strohs sign is awesome. Strohs is great! Awesome hangout space.
Very Nice. Thank you for inviting us in!
Awesome Awesome Awesome!!! Even more so because you actually did it yourself!!! Love it my friend. Will be waiting for my invite!!!
I'l always have a cold one waiting for ya!
That looks Awesome Frank. Well Done with the Bar area, easy to see you put a lot of work into that and it paid off for you! Thanks for sharing!
I love it! You did a great job. Impressive. You just became that much cooler in my world. You have some awesome stuff and that arcade cabinet is super cool...nice conversion. A+
You got a Unicorn for a wife there my friend. Like some kind of magic.Very lucky.
Indeed. Thanks Brian.
Wow, Frank! You have an amazing bar, music room, theatre, and man cave. That was a lot of hard work and dedication and it really paid off to be such a fun space for you, your family, and friends.
I'm really digging that arcade machine of yours that you found and then had customized. The Brick sells Arcade1Up machines and had a sale recently where I purchased a Ms. Pac-Man arcade machine (with 12 arcade games included) and a Terminator 2: Judgment Day machine; both of which I still have to assemble and test, but arcade machines really add a lot of fun as well as nostalgia to any media room/man cave. :)
Thanks my friend. I have eyed those 1Up machines at the Brick as well. I love classic/retro gaming. Let me know your thoughts once you get the machine going. Did you get the risers as well?
@@Channel33RPM Hopefully, by the end of the week, they'll be up and running. Yes, both of them came with the risers included and I think they are essential to give both units a bit more height. That seems to be the consensus among reviewers out there and if the risers are part of the kit, they are a better value together than buying the risers separately later on.
The only downside with The Brick is I had just 48 hours to report any defects or damage for a refund and I was way too busy this past week to assemble the units to see if they were working properly (the boxes were perfect and intact), so technically, I own the units now whether they work or not. So, that's the only caveat to assemble them quickly in the event that something is not functioning properly or to see if the cabinets are damaged in any way.
Great addition brother. Love the set up and impressive that you did the work. Hope you have many years of fun food and fellowship in the new space.
Much appreciated. Cheers!
Rec Room/Bar looks great. We'll done! And I had to laugh when you said "Gretzky whiskey is terrible"... It is terrible.
Yeah... I should have known when it was marked down $5....
Damn, Frank You're basement ROCKS !!! That would be such a great place to just chill and listen to music. The bar is essential too. Grab a drink and continue to rock out.You did a fantastic job on the bar. I wanna party with you bro !
Thanks Gary. \m/
Makes me wish I had a basement.
4:22 nice beer glass! Love the show Frank, best wishes from Newcastle 🥳
Cheer Mick!
The bar is Primo. Love the wood. The tour was great. Thanks. It’s always nice to see one’s audio/video equipment. Ahhhh Crown Royale on ice. Sung by Jill Scott.
Well done Frank. Your basement space looks professionally done. Great layout and design elements. Your movie room and bar looks like a great place for friends and family. Thank you for the tour!
Zeal and Ardor record eh. Very nice. Great live band too.

Frank, you live in pop-culture-paradise. 😍
Thanks!
Love love love this bar and music room.
Great space, Frank. Been watching your videos for a while so it's great to see you've done this for yourself and the family!
Thanks Chris!
You're quite the handyman. Really enjoyed seeing your vinyl den.
Excellent Frank. Great set up. I’m older than you my big music days were late sixties and seventies. Of coarse that’s when the best was out. It was a great time to grow up. Really enjoy your videos also. My system is from the 70’s. Thorhens dual kenwood altec lansing teac Sony and marantz. You are the man Frank and keep on spinning.
Very nice. The vintage systems are great. I have my 1970s set up on the main floor, and love it. Thank you for the comment.
Great space!!!! Thank you for the ideas!
Really dig the space. Thanks for the tour.
Thanks for watching!
Absolutely love this setup Frank, you have an incredible set of spaces here. I am hopefully moving into a new place at the end of the year and planning on creating my own home theater and music room so you have provided a ton of ideas and inspiration here.
Awesome. Have fun - I have no regrets with this space. We use it all the time.
@@Channel33RPM Thanks so much for your reply Frank. I also forgot to ask, what are you making of the Zeal & Ardor album on your display? It blew my mind when I first heard it and I've returned to it constantly over the past few years.
Great hangout space Frank. Good job.Enjoy!!
What a cool space! Love the movie posters and setup!
Dang, Frank! I wanna go all the way up to Canada and go chill with you in the man cave and kick back with tunes and beer! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🍻

Great video 🎶
Well done Frank, very cool !
Great space Frank, mine is like yours every inch of space is utilized
Thanks Gary.
Love it, man. Seems like a really cool space to hang out in. A lot of work, but I’m guessing you’re pleased.
Thanks Chris. Yes, I am very happy with the set up. Just a few tweaks to do here and there. I appreciate the comment.
Awesome! What a great place to hang out!
Very nice! Enjoy!
Love it! Thanks for the tour!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I show my respect for your man cave by having a manly beer, Coors Light. All man caves a great with the right beer.
I have 3 man caves here where I live: my bedroom, bathroom and a basement gym. Best of all, no wife, no kids, no issues. Just me and the buddy in the man cave watching man movies like Conan The Barbarian; watching wrestling on the 4K TV. Life is great.
Very cool setup !
Well done Frank! Enjoy it amigo!😉👍✨
awesome - one suggestion though - get your wife a belated Mother's Day present of a washer, dryer combo somewhere upstairs so she doesn't have to bring all the Landry Laundry up and down the stairs all the time ... and you can have more room for more records! or put a drum set in the current laundry room area so you can jam in there with your friends ... win / win !!!
one other suggestion, get a jigsaw or a router and curve the edge of the bar, it looks pretty sharp - don't want to scratch yourself or snag and rip one of your KISS t-shirts on it
I like the way you think, Billy :)
Love the wall art !
Thanks for the tour Frank. Looks awesome!
Thanks for watching!
I have that EXACT same Godin, love it!!! Great tour 🤙🏽
Great job Frank, that looks great!!!
Thanks 👍
WOW! Looks great, man. Congratulations...
What a fabulous space you've created, Frank! Your whole family must love it - wish I had that kind of room, but we manage all the same! :-)
Thank you. Yeah they all love it. The kids call the bar the 'snack shack.' I've got some sodas and chips back there for them. We do a family movie night at least once a week.
Thanks for the tour. Great family space is always worth the investment.
Thanks for the tour frank, really enjoy your channel and content! Keep on spinning (both vinyl and cd's!!)
Thanks, and you as well \m/
Very cool basement, Frank! I'd be spending a lot of time in the basement as well!
That’s great, you can have a fire down in the basement while listening to vinyl.
Indeed.
Great Vid Frank. Thank you for the tour. All the best.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for tuning in.
Hey Frank with all that cool stuff you own , do you ever leave your house? There is plenty of entertainment !!!!!
Haha - sometimes I do leave :) ... Honestly, often times people just end up coming here to hang out and catch a movie, etc. We do a lot of horror nights - that kind of stuff. Cheers
Looks awesome Frank. Great space!
Thanks 👍
The bar looks amazing 😁🤘
Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
That was fantastic, Frank! Everything looks fun, warm and cozy. Extremely well done. Funny that you mentioned that your 1200 may be the last table you buy; just the other day I was thinking that I no longer have upgrade-itis as my circa-2005 SL1210MK2 (essentially the same table as yours but dual-voltage) is built like a tank, parts are easy to find almost anywhere, and I love the sound. I'd been through many tables over the years, sometimes just for fun, but now I feel settled in with almost all my gear. Oh yeah, the pets' names are awesome.
Cheers! Tom
Very cool to hear your thoughts in your Technics, Tom. For years, I had heard the 1200s/1210s were horrible for home hi-fi. I don't understand that at all... those things sound great (and are built like tanks). Thank you for the comment - hope all is well.
I really like your entertainment setup, nice job 😎🎶🕹📽
Thanks!
Killer setup! I love the bar!! Very cool seeing behind the scenes, you’d have to drag me out of there!! Awesome Frank!!!👍🤘🤘
Thanks dude!!!
You've made those spaces so cool Frank.
Looks amazing. 🤘💜👍
