"Everything is at stake!" When I read this I thought that, in Jesus all things consist, hold together and He created all things! Col 1:16-17, John 1:1-3,14 and He is the upholder of worlds! Heb 1:3. I just could imagine everything turning to confetti had not Jesus gained the victory! Thank you Jesus!

Here is the thing. We have seen the infinite power and greatness of our God in the creation of the heavens and the earth and our minds were already blown. But now we see Him in Gethsemane and on the cross and what can we say now? Just "stay let me weep while you whisper!, love paid the ransom for me"

I can imagine the protecting Angel from heaven, asking Jehovah to let him go down and protect Jesus from the weight he was carrying over His shoulders. Yet for our sake the Angel was probably prohibited from interfering for the human race’s salvation. What a privilege it would have to be for the Angel comforting our Lord to carry on His mission for the world.

I think a great point: when Judas approached Jesus and Jesus still related to him as his friend, with tears in his voice and lips quivering….
Thinking of this…Judas was lost at this point. (Chapter 72, 12th paragraph ). Yes Jesus shows his willingness to forgive but it was too late. He loves the lost!!! He will always offer forgiveness no matter what your condition!!! He will always love you. So this gives us great hope. Never do we have to wonder if he will receive us. “ for thou O Lord, has not forsaken them that seek you.” He only hates Sin.
The infinite Love of God. What a Savior! 💔

Not to distract from the main theme but consider this. Jesus in this experience is showing the steps to victory. 1. Willing to be made willing
    2. Being made willing by God bringing things to his mind
    3. Making the choice, as he fell dying to the earth.
    4. Being empowered by God again by things brought to his mind.
    5. The results: complete victory, even with our sins upon him, forsaken by God and the freedom to walk away . Amazing God.
He never let his mind dwell on this at the Passover. He focused only on his disciples and left it in His Fathers hands. Then Gethsemane. Just in time!

This has been and interesting journey but extraordinarily blessed one! DA-withDA- To people like DA was David the psalmist referring to when he was so happy because they invited him to go to the house of the Lord...
DA is so contagious in his love and passion for Christ! Hallelujah! I share his material with others all the time!

My journal’s trailer version of this chapter is so good. “It is the hour of darkness. The sins of this lost planet will soon be laid on the Son of God, severing the cords that have tightly bound Him to God the Father. Heaven bends close as Jesus - overwhelmed, afraid and alone-must choose to become the doomed Sacrifice or abandon humanity to its evil end.” My word for this chapter was CRISIS. We are at a time of crisis, where Jesus had all the right to abandon us to our end, but instead, He chose to move forward and save us, God thank YOU for Your eternal sacrifice, we don’t understand it, but we accept it by faith. Thank YOU Jesus, is all I can say. Thank YOU Jesus. 7/23/24

8 times he needed the support of his sinful disciples. Jesus took back the satan's number from him.
