Bob , Your Railroad is Amazing and So Incredibly Detailed a Real Tribute to your YEARS of Amazing Talent and Skill I have been a Fan and subscriber to your Gazette for MANY Years ..... Keep Up your Beautiful work and I hope you can continue it All for "Many" Years to come ..... Thank You for sharing it All with Us ...God Bless and Stay Well
Thank You Bob for a lifetime of dedication to this wonderful hobby. I have been reading and inspired by the Gazette since the late 70's and had the privilege of having my On30 Payless Mining Company layout featured in a1996 issue. I remember touring you layout at one of the early O-Scale west conventions and was inspired by your "clutter" on the layout, and all of your scratch built structures. The Gazette has been the only model railroad magazine that I read and has been a Great source of information and inspiration to this day!! Thanks Again!!
Hi Bob, Great to see you again, if only in video, after so many years of losing touch. Glad to see you are still going strong and modelling as well as always. Marion & I still remember our visit to you and the layout and leaving with an arm full of Gazettes to complete my collection from No.1 onwards. I sold the Narrow Gauge & Indsutrial Railway Modelling Review back to Roy Link a number of years ago and sadly he passed awaay a couple of years back now, but the mag is still going strong. Keep going Bob you and Irene are a corner stones of Model Railroading. Cheers! Mike Brown.
I’ve not been involved with model railroading for years, but I do remember that little locomotive built by Bill Coffey as it was on the cover of a Model Railroader magazine that I’d kept for many years… I didn’t have the time for modeling so I sold all of the train related items save for my collection of antique postcards depicting the C&S Ry. Someday I may put together a book with these postcards. I think I’ve got nearly two hundred of them.
@@johnsolimine1164 I’ve only recently thought about doing something with my postcard collection in book format or perhaps as a jigsaw puzzle. In the past I also thought about a website to display them… The problem with getting older is I’ve got lots of ideas on things I’d like to do, finding the mental strength to start on it is another 😁
My husband has subscribed to the Gazette for a number of years. He is always showing me articles from it that he thinks I'll enjoy and find informative. Thanks for producing this video and showing your model railroads. It was wonderful. We enjoyed both seeing the models and hearing the history of railroading in northern and central California.
I've been reading the Gazette since the early 80's. Still go back and pull one out for a reread. I have used a lot of the articles for inspiration over the years. Tis a great model rr. Thanks for sharing it.
My Figure is still there, at 16:40 a railbus goes past a gent videotaping wearing an d Australia Tracksuit, my late father gave it to Bob on his visit to this lovely layout

The layout the got me interested in narrow gauge. Saw the article in the Gazette back in the early 70s and was hooked. Thanks Bob.

Historic photos are essential for correct modeling. Since I model C&S in 20.3 scale, I'd be a buyer.
