- This was the last song before the Encore and it shows just how much of herself she puts into her songs. She sings filled with emotion and fun and lets herself enjoy the moment. It isn't a mystery why fans can connect with her and love her. She embodies the music and lets it affect her, which in turn makes an even greater impact. Her potential is limitless, especially being so young. I hope her star just keeps rising!

Just watched most of your uploads of Lorde's Vancouver concert and thanks for some of the best amateur camera work of any concert I have seen. You really seem to catch her on stage very well. You can see she is enjoying what she is doing. In my view one of the best live singers today. Thanks for the uploads.
Thanks! I try my best to capture the best footage I can, although it depends entirely on where I'm located, the venue, the people around me, what the artists end up doing and most importantly what they allow you to use at the venue/during the concert. I got lucky with this one, as I did with Sabrina Carpenter, that I was in a very decent location. Although people did chat around me, (which I really wish I could modify but I'm not good enough to do more than minor tweaks to audio,) for the most part the audio turned out as well as, or better than I could have expected. Every concert I go to, when I do film, it is about catching those magic moments when you can see the joy/pain/emotion/love of the artists doing what they are doing. If some of that comes across to people, then I have done what I set out to do.
And yes, she is great live. You never know what to expect with singers, how close their voice will be to their recordings, and with her, you could clearly hear the music she puts out is her actual singing voice, not enhanced and altered. That is especially obvious on songs like 'Writer In The Dark', 'Liability' and 'Solo', which she doesn't have a recording of.
She’s an incredible singer. She really gets into all of her songs and sings with such power and emotion. I’m seeing her next month and I am beyond excited :)

Wow, amazing shots... thanks for sharing! I was supposed to be at that concert last night in Vancouver, but couldn't make it. I would've been where the 2nd stage was supposed to be.
Interestingly, there actually ended up not being a B-stage after all. I'm not sure if she decided to remove it or it was never actually officially part of the set, since it wasn't shown on the Ticketmaster site but was shown on other sites. Either way, all performances happened solely on the main stage.

Thanks. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I filmed it. I tried my best to capture everything to the best of my ability. Sometimes it is really hard and you have to make decisions on what to capture when, considering sometimes there is a lot of stuff going on all over the place, but every once in a while you get lucky and make the right decision.

Thanks! Unfortunately I don't have absolutely everything recorded. I'm missing (basically) 3 songs...well 1 full song and parts of 2 other songs sadly. I will be releasing more however and by the time I'm done the majority of the concert should be up!

Sober II (Melodrama) is not one of the missing ones and will probably get posted pretty soon. There is a brief blackout moment (which doesn't affect the audio, only video), but that actually happened during the concert and wasn't my camera, (not sure if it was an accident or on purpose.)
I love how she enjoys the concert. The energy, happiness and joy. She's great and I'm glad the energy goes to others over the phone.,😇😇🇨🇦

Thanks! I always have extremely sore arms after every concert, but I'm used to lugging around a lot more camera equipment when I'm traveling, so I've kind of gotten somewhat decent at it. Lol. As long as people don't move too much I generally don't have a problem, but trying to track people when you don't know where they are going to go, or what they are going to do, not to mention other people/things in your way for clear tracking shots, it does get quite tricky at times. I'd give anything to have access to the other side of the barrier to record, where I could move with the artists and not have to worry about any interference anywhere...

Thanks! It was definitely a good concert, and that is why I post what I can, for those that either can't go or they want to remember.
I was using a fairly old Sony A6000. Not the best camera anymore by any stretch, but it still does a pretty decent job. (Biggest downside is no 4K or ability to capture pictures while recording.)

Sadly, although I would love to see her live once again and record another spectacular performance, I unfortunately won't be attending her new tour, due to a number of circumstances, the first being a lack of funds to justify a trip like that, the second being travel isn't going to be the easiest thing for quite a while to come, and although the tour isn't until next year, I'm currently unsure as to what state I'll be in at that point in time. If she had been coming back to Vancouver, although it still might have been hard, I probably would have at least made an attempt to get a ticket and go. I would love to have a different answer for you, but unfortunately that is the state of things for me at this moment. Hopefully, maybe she will produce her own concert video for it, or someone else will be able to get some good footage. I am glad that you have enjoyed the footage I was able to capture of the Melodrama tour however!
@@DieHard0 that’s totally acceptable totally understand! I only ask because I will be attending the show. Your footage of this show, which I thought about going to but decided not to, has been some of my favourite footage of any concert ever. Melodrama was such an important album to me, and these recording just as much so. You captured her power pretence and heart every moment you were shooting. For years now it’s haunted me that I wasn’t able to experience this show, but your videos got me close enough that I knew the next time around I wouldn’t miss it for the world. Thank you so so much for these recordings, and specifically this one. It’s my absolute favourite of the bunch.

Sadly, I couldn't say why she hasn't come there yet. My guess is that with the number of shows overall, it is already a pretty hectic tour for her, although she sadly only does 1 in Asia and 1 in South America. Hopefully at some point she will go there, if not for her own tour, as part of some event and you will get the chance to see her.
