I actually have a question regarding the duration of 일제강점기. In the keywords section you state that Japanese rule lasted from 1897 - 1910. However, I have read elsewhere that this was the period of the Korean Empire (대한제국), which ended with the annexation of Korea by the Japanese starting from 1910 and lasting until 1945. Could you please tell me which is correct or if maybe I misinterpreted something? 🤔😊

I had the same questions. I checked the Naver 국어사전 and it says that 일제강점기 is indeed 1910-1945. 일제강점기: "1910년의 국권 강탈 이후 1945년 해방되기까지 35년간의 시대."

You are right. There is a typo in the numbers for the Japanese annexation period.

The best way to learn new vocabulary is to watch video thrice first without knowing vocabulary,second after understanding vocabulary and finally without captions this is the one of the best videos for learning Korean 🙏🥳🥳
