You should definitely make a video about the roses you've received :) 11 years ago something very bad happened to me, I could have died, and when I was scared and recovering, not knowing if what happened would happen again, I was confined to the couch in my living room and I found a St. Therese novena online, which I started. After that, a friend unexpectedly came to visit me and told me a friend of hers had been to Italy and they knew about me and had brought something back for me - it was a rose scented rosary! I was so surprised! :)
What a beautiful story, Rachel! That was definitely St. Therese at work. We love hearing stories like this (and are so glad that you made a good recovery 11 years ago!)
How did I miss this one? My mother-in-law received a Heavenly rose. My youngest daughter has a strong devotion to St Therese. She has a couple dolls of St. Therese. Once again, I've added books to my book list. I think the St. Benedict and St. Therese book is where I'd start. I need to check out the picture book. I'll probably order it soon. I'll share on IG if I do. I just love y'all. God bless!
@@catholicmomanddaughter she passed away in 2019. I can't remember the details but I remember her telling me she and my SIL had been praying about something. There was not a rose bush in the yard but a random rose showed up outside. Now that I'm thinking about it, it may have been at my SIL's house. If so, it's the house my family now lives in. I'll have to ask her and see.
@@catholicmomanddaughter it was my SIL. She lived in the house my family lives in now. There was snow on the ground. She was praying about a situation with her ex-husband and asked St. Therese for help. There were 2 artificial roses in her yard. She doesn't know where they came from. I'm not sure if artificial roses are the same in regards to St. Therese? Still, the situation worked out.
Well, I’m sending y’all a little encouragement. Regarding your desire for a picture book on Saint Therese, with your love of reading and writing, deep knowledge of your faith, and talent in the arts… perhaps you could write and illustrate one and publish it? You could self publish through Amazon… Who knows what God will do through you? ❤🌹
Which book should we read next? Let us know- leave a comment. We'd love to hear from you!
Yes hearing about your stories of recieving Rose's from my favorite St Therese would be wonderful!!! I would love that episode!
Thanks, Jennifer! We will definitely consider doing it- we'd love to share our stories :)
I almost forgot - the book about St Benedict, little rule and little way, seems good and the most interesting, you should read that :D
We took your advice and started this one, Rachel. So far it is very good!
Love St. Therese of Lisieux! My sisters and I grew up playing with St. Therese paper dolls and we loved them ❤
She is a favorite here- how fun to have the paper dolls!
Thank you very much!! you are so great recommending books. Thank you. God bless you!!
You are very welcome, Anna. We are so glad the video was a help to you :)

What a neat story, Michelle! From what we've read, yes- artificial roses count. Sometimes St. Therese has to get creative, lol

Great idea!
