You know a character's a serious badass when they can punch an emotion out of a character
One thing that kinda gets on my nerves is when the bad guys keep asking Asura why he's so powerful, and what drives his rage. Gee, I don't know, maybe the fact that you killed his wife, kidnapped his daughter, framed him for a murder he didn't commit, and topped it off by killing him? That might have something to do with it
Yasha didn't kill Asura's wife but he didn't defended her and he knew that someone's have to kill her
well, to be fair, asura was being tested by the master of the universe so he definetly got help from him
Also the fact that Yasha (his brother-in-law) was well aware about the plan and instead of opposing it he decided to go along with the plan

That isn't the full scope of his rage. Sure, that's what gets him angry enough to keep fighting the Seven, but there's a deeper seated rage at the misuse of power to ruin and destroy lives. Asura's wrath for the respect less and depraved leadership he's seen for most of his life is why he's always been so strong, even before his family and well before they were taken from him. That just added onto it, but it's what gives him enough power to beat Chakravartin too, because that God is the literal personification of everything Asura hates.
The fact that the game had you play the role of his opponent, just so you could see firsthand how unstoppable Asura is was so unexpected
Asura in his berserker form sure does hit like a truck.

Since the supposed genetic here is powerful and beaming with mantra/divine power, a big part of Mithra would die alongside Asura since Chakravatin is the very basis of Mantra and Divinity himself

Yeah. Both are pretty much eqaul in everyway however, Yasha dominates in speed and Asura dominates in power.
god Steve Blum can really make your skin crawl at times with that voice of his.
Asura crushes Sergeis skull for killing his wife but unleashed all his hatred on Yasha.

I did like the details.. despite being insane and berserk he actually took his time to Listen To Sergei and Yasha conversation and after he heard Yasha admit He Knew who murdered His Sister/Asura Wife Is rhe reason Why He Took his Hatred out on Yasha after he killed Sergei.. because Yasha betrayed Asura, His Sister, and His niece. There's no way a Insane Berserker would take their time to listen to a conversation.. it's very clear that Asura wanted to find out who killed his wife.. which is why he did not kill Sergei immediately and Allowed the conversation to drag out until he discovered Yasha Knew Sergei Evil Deed Whole Time but Did Nothing.... it's very telling considering Asura snapped after the conversation ended With Sergei Laughing at Yasha blind obedience.

10 years later ever since I saw the first gameplay, I still enjoy it.
It's one of my favorite games, even if capcom made it a little bit light (as you can see in the first trailer there's blood and environment interaction), and well the DLCs are awful like, the real ending, which is REALLY FUCKING AMAZING cost 8$ I don't regret at all but it hurts 😂

Chakravartin's final form and berseker Asura looks similar. Like they're flexible movements and hell-ish bodies/faces
This game was amazing and HEAVILY underrated. I only wish we could've played as Beserker Asura (not including when he initially transformed and shot down all of those air crafts).

Just messing with lighting can make a big difference, and I just have no faith in current industry to manage even that.
The main consensus of modern re-releases is "we did it different so it‘s better" instead of respecting artistic vision of the OG or even what the fans want.
You know there is something wrong when modders are doing a better job for free than big corpo while charging you 10 times the originals price.

There won't be a sequel, didn't sell well and finished the story via DLC Capcom announced the story is finished.

Yes this version of Asura is even weaker than his 6 arms version, but I think the berserker with 4 extra form is stronger because he got weakened by the blast
It's the idea of venting he's was always keeping his anger in to control himself only to use it in his fights someone who is venting anger in a fight is weaker cause it gradually goes down

It is said in the game that Augus did not agree with Deus' great rebirth and didn't give a fuck about their big plans in general. He didn't betray Asura and probably didn't know about it until later. Would he have stopped them? Augus was as strong as Deus and could probably have held back most of them by himself. Together with Asura they could have won.
Augus was fighting gohmas as he always had. Until he found out What happened to asura which resulted in the moment he unleashed his sword against Deus as mentioned before

You can do a few more until asura eventually hits you but the guy playing currently has a skill issue
