Yes, MTDC resorts will be booked quite well in advance, and that too during peak holiday periods 😀, but for Tarkarli there are 2 MTDC resorts, one is the one where I stayed and shared my review in vlog and another is MTDC IISDA. Tarkarli-Malvan region being the coastal Konkan region so quite a lot of resorts available, like Tropical Cabanas, Blue Heavens, Marine Oasis, Chivala resort etc. Though I have not stayed in any of them except MTDC Tarkarli, but heard about them from others, so you may try. But as said, since it is a holiday period and Konkan coastal region is a hotspot for travellers so suggest to book well in advance 😊
I am not sure about this, but I have not seen any pet during my stay over there. The better check will be if you directly call them up and enquire about this.
Sorry, I am not a Marathi speaking person, but based on what I understood from your queries is - (1) This is a nice resort leased by MTDC, and a closed resort (boundary wall), (2) The inside area is fully green but nicely maintained, so nothing to fear, the cottages are next to each other and we used to roam around after dinner inside the resort premise, but it is also advised to not go to the Garden, (3) As the resort is a boundary wall closed resort and maintained nicely, so no problem with the Security, but even though it is safe inside the resort premise but parking of own vehicles will be at owner's risk, though you have private parking for each cottages. Overall, nice and safe and like any other reputed resorts. But you may call the resort management and check for any specific questions that you may have. I stayed there with my family for multiple days and everything we found was good. 👍
MTDC के बारे में मेरी राय अलग है। Govt का होते हुए भी इतना महंगा है को लगता है की Taj महल होटल है 5 star 😮😢 Mtdc restaurant में खाना भी इतना महंगा होता है की बापरे😢😮 उस कीमत में private होटल या resorts काम कीमत में मिलते है. Govt का होनी की वजह से कोई maintenance भी अच्छा नहीं होता. Professional तरीके से होटल नही चलते. बस पैसे कमाना ये ही एक मकसद है mtdc का. मैं अभी गणपतिपुले कोंकण में गया था, और mtdc के restaurant में dinner किया, other restaurant के मुकाबले 50 से 60 रु महंगा था और quantity कोई खास नही और taste भी averge था. पानी bottle 25 की 1 Lt. बाहेर 20 में मिलती है. Rail neer 15 में मिलता है. सिर्फ लूट है वहा.
From my travel experiences from across India what I found is no state run tourism development corporation hotel is budget hotel, be it MTDC, or KTDC, or OTDC, TTDC, WBTDC..whichever.. they are not budget hotels in majority of the cases - but being government run organization their locations are just awesome.

Can you please suggest me any such resort in Malvan, near Tarkarli, because MTDC is Full during Diwali. I am from Bengal.
