I’m driving a Toyota Yaris for a while now and I began to want something luxurious fast and comfortable(Japanese) That’s why I’m going for the GS450h. Like this comment to remind me to come back here after I get this car.
@@mahmudhassan8894 If you think from reliability, those E-Cvts are very reliable. Only the electrical oil pump bearings for the transmission needs to be changed after 300k km.
Sport mode changes the suspension. If you're on a bendy road put it in S mode you will feel the difference. As for power mode. I always leave it on. The throttle is way more responsive and never really notices any difference in fuel economy.
@@ostrowskichad4701the difference between eco and power mode is not about the throttle response, it changes the performance. While the car is in eco the max output is 150 kW, and while it’s in power the max is 250 kW if I remember correctly
If it say Hybrid walk away no runaway now, don't think just go. Those batteries are mandatory for that car to run and don't offer much more in efficiency over the independent NA engine. Those batteries are also very expensive to repair aka replace while the engine itself is extremely reliable with scheduled maintenance. Buying a newer model Lexus hybrid is different if you plan on selling down the line before problems arise and the resale value drops. However buying this used model and the like can be a deal or a money pit you wish you avoided. When the NA is the better option to buy it's your choice but Lexus won't tell you they ruined perfectly good vehicles making them a hybrid.
Big difference in UK road tax between the 300 and 450h and their are a number of decent specialists who can update/refresh the battery pack for sensible money
@@therealunclevanyado you know of any specialists in London area? I’ve searched around and found some but everyone claims to be a “specialist” to get businss
The soft door closing is so satisfying.
I don't think the GS has soft closing doors, except for the boot 🤔
I have an 08 460

@@elonwong I haven’t got it yet 😂 hopefully this month or next month
ay be careful though these are like 10 times faster 0 - 100 in around 5 seconds and the torque is insane
@@Autoblox0 thanks for telling me what I don’t know😂
Did you buy the Lexus?
How strange is that review, but at the same time so cool, no comments just driving.
My brother had a couple of gs450h many years ago. Brilliant cars but wasn't ready for an auto back then
I love the way you reviewer the car with only uttering one word, jeez..
🥶
Good review ❤
Thank you 🙏
Can’t avoid them potholes roads are brutal
I bought one few months back superb cars
UK roads are a joke. Government doesn't give a toss

Wait a second I recognise Elstree and Borehamwood from anywhere lol
Yes sirrr
I was driving an gs450 and on a bumpy road I hear much knocks from the suspension. Anybody know what it can be?
Control arms or worn out bushes
There is no point to use “S” mode in gearbox - it changes nothing. I have this car 3 years now and never used it.
Good point. CVT gearboxes not made for sporty driving
It noticeably increases the throttle response

I use it as an engine brake when going downhill. It also supposedly charges your hybrid battery quicker when coasting downhill.

I couldn’t disagree more. I have had a dozen of these old Lexus and sold them to customers years ago who still drive them without problems.
