I drive a big truck for a living....I also drive multiple cars within my family...so now instead of turning the windshield wipers on, I would be in danger of throwing my car out of gear while flying down the highway?? How completely stupid....I was interested in the Equinox...but if this is my only shifter option...forget it
@@francescasilver724Right?? I have a lease on a 2022 equinox and the gear shifter for the 25 is where my windshield wipers currently are. I don't know that I'll be getting a new equinox next year.
@@francescasilver724you do realize if your driving on the highway and hit the shifter by accident it won’t shift gears unless you come to a complete stop with your foot on the break it’s not 1990 anymore
Purchased a 2025 , What a crap shifter , I dont know how many tmes I have been driving and hit the shifter throwing it into neutral. Anyone who has had a GM all GM's have the wipers and washer fluid on the right side. NOw very easy to mistake the shifter for the wipers and throw your car in park or neutral while driving . Scares the crap out of you. Bad design and very cheap felling. GM cost cutting as always

New cars won’t let the car shift if your in drive or reverse you have to come to a complete stop and have your foot on your break
Well I don’t like that at all. Guess I’ll be doing blazer again when my lease is up. Wanted to go back to an equinox but that’s a deal breaker for me.

FWD is CVT and AWD is 8-speed. Both have the paddle shifters.
