This new UI seems absolutely ground breaking with one really big caveat... that being the robustness and reliability of the LCD screen. If the screen dies, your machine is 100% dead in the water. I say this because I experienced it first hand with my Miller Multimatic 215. The screen died within the 1st year of ownership and it rendered the machine completely unusable. Miller took care of the problem through their "authorized repair network" but it took about a month to perform the repair. If Miller is going this route on all future machines they need to design "drop in" user replaceable LCD screens that are available as replacement parts shippable to the end user.
Thanks for reaching out, Brandon. We appreciate you sharing your feedback. Quality and reliability are very important to us, and we are always working to improve our products and service. We will share this with our team.
This is great but it is just tailoring to people that don’t know what settings do and how they affect the end result. Dynasties are made for professional environments for professionals if you don’t know what a setting does on the machine, go educate yourself or buy an entry level machine. I love my 280dx only thing I wish it had was memory but guess what I use my own memory and haven’t had a problem. Miller your awesome I know your trying to reach a broader audience 👍🏼
Hopefully they improved reliability, my 30 year old 250 syncrowave has been flawless, still use it. Sold both of my dynasty with perpetual, board and screen problems, amazing machine but very unreliable, especially for the outrageous price, might check out the HTP
I have to agree... Seems that HTP has all the reliability issues worked out much better than Miller in many regards... I have moved away from the Miller and am happy with the Fronius MagicWave, and TranSteel...
i'll take the older style over the new style any day of the week. no real welder out there wants to press 5 buttons to get to their setting, punch in a dam keyboard. Set the machine on weld, and get the job done. this is a joke
@@bikesfightback yeah, change it, make it worse, charge more money. these welders are getting out of hand now. back in 2019 i bought a brand new Pipe Pro 400 with 17,200, now you'll spend nearly 30 grand for the same machine. i know my wages haven't went up that much, actually gone down in the last few years...
@@welderapprentice5074 lmao actually I own 2 engineering/manufacturing companies as well as a mobile welding company and have had no problems with the 90 different Harbor Freight welders being used. Of course I also do used them at home as well. My companies have used Harbor Freight welders since the day I opened them up 17 years ago. 42 of those welders have been upgraded to their newer models and the remaining 48 will be upgraded within the next 60 days. Outside of the fact the HF equipment is made in China they are just as reliable as a Miller or a Lincoln. I’ve seen first hand Miller and Lincoln welders catch on fire because of improper manufacturing, but that goes without saying that no equipment is perfectly manufactured. Especially when the human factor has a hand in making the equipment.
I'm not going to get into a H.F. vs MILLER debate, because I have always been BLUE, but my RED Mig is pure garbage. The drive system is like something leftover from a child's Legos. Never again RED. Oh, and my 1 YELLOW rig, like the H.F. is made in China as well. It's been holding up well. T.S. RACING
Now that I am ready to pick one if these babies up, I cannot afford the price increases over last year. Maybe we will see a rebate this year?
Looks very nice glad for this update it was long overdue... Hope the reliability issues have been worked out...

these are awesome to use. I've got about 20 hours arc time on a prototype.

I just bought one from purity gas , it doesnt seem to like to weld 6010 ? .... Is there something im misding in the setting for cellulose rod ?
6010 requires a higher dig setting to run, pro set is about 65 for 6010.
@@MillerWelders the volts drop off mid weld to below 20 sometimes as low as 10.8

I would love one of these new Dynasty welders to go along with my Multimatic 215...just unfortunately too pricey to buy for my channel.
Nice machine vision very clearly showing please buying information in India.
If you have any 280dx or dxcps left I’ll buy it tomorrow lol.

Agreed. I love the real buttons on my 210 dx. I know all the menus and use and change the settings often. Professional. Why change a good thing

I’ll stick to Harbor Freight welders they’re just as reliable as Miller without having to give up a first and second born child and leg
I wouldn't say that....Miller makes pretty much the best welders out there, the HF ones are just a rebranded chinese machine.
@@SomeGuysGarage and are just as good as the miller welders.
