Your honor, Microsoft did not steal the plaintiff's copyrighted, proprietary, or secret data from their computer. The client's own AI merely inferred a generalization of this information to us at Microsoft allowing us to beat them to market with a competing product.
bruv I'm here since your first video. it's good to see that you're upgrading video quality and editing while keeping the content quality too. keep up the good work ❤️
Thanks bro, appreciate the feedback
Microsoft's *NPU* is a Game Changer for us!! Here we were trying to figure out how we could afford 50,000 Nvidia Blackwell GPU's @ $40,000 each in order to train our upcoming *14 **_Trillion_** parameter* model, and along comes Microsoft to the rescue. If Microsoft says these NPU's are "up to 100x as efficient[2] for running AI Workloads..." Why _Wouldn't_ we beleive them?? We can now purchase these Copilot+ PC's - with the *NPU's* built-in - at a 98% DISCOUNT compared to Nvidia GPU's to train our model, and get the rest of the computer too boot!
This IS an "Incredible Value". Thanks Microsoft!
That's a nice point
I'm not interested by this unless it runs 100% locally and I can change the AI model used freely.
I love the idea. I would love to have an LLM operate my computer based on commands, adapt and facilitate the experiences. However, I acknowledge your worries. If they collected information, we wouldn't necessarily know it. They're going to need a lot of transparency with the public to earn people's trust and keep it, and I believe they should always give Windows users the ability to refuse having their personal information recorded and sent to them.
I checked the blog posts of all the OEMs introducing their Copilot+ PCs and couldn't find "Azure" mentioned in their posts. Hopefully, the NPU is not locked-in on Azure and can be freely utilized similar to GPUs.
This is the absolut main reason why i hate windows so much and switched too linux mint. Fuck Microsoft! Fuck all those clouds...
Hey! Great video, I want to know what is the criteria for the hault of the free tier of GPT-4o, is it based on the number of tokens or prompts or some time limit?
Thanks. It's the number of chats.
Microsoft ARM CPU attempt number 3.
So what does an NPU with 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS) actually mean ???.
But can it run Llama 3 locally - don't think so.
oh attempt number 3? I thought it was 2?

Surface using NVidia Tegra 3
Surface Pro X using Qualcomm 8cx as the MS SQ1 and SQ2
Qualcomm SnapDragon X - a server class ARM chip originally from Nuvia (ex Apple) hence the high core count
I don't trust microsoft tbh
Then trust Tim apple
Same I don't want everything I do being sent to the cloud. Including any code, they better turn it off by default.
I saw the announcement video and figured out this will bomb big time 😂
Why did you feel so ?
@@1littlecoder Its a first generation. It will be a lot of unoptimized bloatware. Enterprise security teams will not endorse this pc while the consumer market is not soo advanced to buy these laptops. It falls nowhere. I doubt how much functionality works without internet. Microsoft has a knack for selling hardware and then forgetting about it when it fails. And battery life might take a big blow with the running of local llms. I would rather buy my mother a cheap thing like chromebook for browsing while i buy a mac for development. I dont see a customer profile for this laptop ?. May be a few reviewers. I hope msft does not make windows 11 basic edition a mess with all this mess. Remember cortana ? Tiles ?.
Perfectly said!
AI companies are attempting to gather as much data as possible. I’m not sure why there’s a push to centralize AI. In my view, a good AI should be personal for everyone, with data stored only by the end user and not collected by anyone else.
It Is Already Available/Possible to have function Like copilot recall With RewindAi in mac But It Doenst Have Local Slms Or Things - i am super excited for wwdc to see something good
This is wild!!!
Positively wild or negatively wild ?
@@1littlecoder both of course. If a npu can be achieved without having to get an entirely new pc that’s connected to their clouds that would be great. But if not then data & privacy are cooked for whoever uses this. This is just my estimation, I’m a complete newbie to all of this, so please correct me if my view is incorrect or missing certain points
Copilot must be opt in.
Quite alarming to say the least!
Does this use gpt 4o and voice that openai demoed
Azure is adding a lot of additional content abilities on the OpenAI models, they do have access to gpt4o however the ApI hasn’t been updated to intake anything other than text for it. The update should be any day and will hopefully include Assistants API v2 because that functionality hasn’t been fully implemented either.
If you are an employer why would you let your employees work with this.
Let there be opensource version
In the wall street Journal interview with the Microsoft CEO, they illustrated how you can turn off that recording feature you're worried about in windows settings.
But who knows if it is still sending some data to Microsoft silently? Perhaps not full recordings, but screenshots at given intervals.
In the past, Windows has been known to turn those settings back on after a software update.
I think this is too early for these things to really take off we first need powerful chips locally and opensource software which can perform this locally otherwise who is going to trust any big tech
Time to buy a Mac
I see copilot complete trash, and it's not the level of a trillion dollar company
I don’t care take my data use it however you want I have nothing to hide. I am happy to know that I can contribute to making a model better so the rest of our A.I community can benefit of new upcoming models or existing ones
Your data literally will be part of a huge history then! That's a good positive way to see it!
if you have nothing to hide, why edit your comments? 🧐so tired of this braindead take
@@JankJank-om1op could have been a typo. Why go hard ? 🙏🏾
you don't have anything to hide, yet! you never know how the politics and world will change.
“Those with nothing to hide, lack valuables to share.”
Yes, more bloatware 🥹
