I'm shocked at how amazing everyone's artistry and technique is! Everything is so clean! I hope to be able to come to a summer intensive next year or maybe after that..
As a former dancer, I get annoyed when I see professional dancers take class and treat the class as a mere warm up, without use of epaulement, or without finishing the movement to completion. Most American companies fall into this sloppiness. Not so with Tulsa Ballet, at least not so in this clip. What I see are dancers performing the exercises with full epaulement, beautiful movement quality, clear precise timing and with strong technique. Very impressive. I wish the vid clip was longer! Years ago, I had a friend who danced for Tulsa Ballet, but the standard of dancing was not as high as it is now. Kudos to the company leadership. It’s a beautiful array of dancers.

I take classes at Tulsa ballet and dance in that exact room and I see those people everyday it very nice
