Imagine waking up to the sounds of the African bush in Akagera National Park. We tracked lions, elephants, and a kaleidoscope of other wildlife, capturing moments of raw, untamed beauty. From the thrill of a close encounter with a leopard to the serenity of watching a herd of elephants graze, every moment was a photographer’s dream.
Our journey continued to Nyungwe Forest National Park, a verdant paradise teeming with life. We embarked on a thrilling chimpanzee trek, connecting with our closest living relatives in their natural habitat. The canopy walkway offered a bird’s-eye view of this lush ecosystem, while kayaking on Lake Kivu provided a serene counterpoint to the adrenaline-pumping adventures.
The grand finale was an unforgettable encounter with the majestic mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park. Tracking these gentle giants through the mist-covered rainforest was a truly humbling experience. Witnessing their playful interactions and powerful presence is something I will cherish forever.
