Glad to see this campground taking proactive steps to prevent the spread of COVID. You can’t always trust people to have common sense. If you could, you wouldn’t see such high infection numbers in the southern states. My heart goes out to all these families dealing with sick and dying family members from a disease that can be prevented if we all follow proper procedures.
I'm pleased to hear there are campgrounds requiring proof of vaccinations, Although I've heard you can buy the blank card online and fill it in yourself, I'd still pick a campground requiring vaccination over one that doesn't. It's just unfortunate our government didn't provide a way to prove receipt of the vaccination.
@@rvtalltales9327 The point of vaccination is to prevent people from becoming so sick that they die or need to be hospitalized. The same as with the flu vaccine. You can still get the flu after the flu shot, but you won’t get as sick if you didn’t get the shot. I think we can all agree that our healthcare system and health care professionals are stretched to the limit due to COVID. It’s time we all do what we can to stop the spread and keep ourselves healthy and out of the hospital.
We have just sold our home (literally "just", Closing is tomorrow.) and as a result my husband is able to retire about 3yrs early. We are going to rent for a year while we do our search for our new home. We have been heavily researching what we think that we want and now we need to go and physically start standing inside to get a realtime feel for what we really want. We are also making a list of what we will need when we get on the road. Definitely want to add a soft-start. We have added a few things that have been recommended by "Mike & Jen"! Thanks so much!
As a matter of fact, I am taking another trip this weekend! My family and I will be at Abilene State Park! Packed and ready, just waiting for our daughter to get out of school!

I purchased the soft start RV a year ago. It lasted one year with less than 6 months of use.
My husband and I are thinking about selling everything in house then purchase a van and just start the #vanlife
