Nice video. I teach Summer STEM to students in my home. 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, for 8 weeks. I teach for free, but I only take 6 students per summer. I interview each student and parents and hand pick students not on grades but on the student's hunger to learn. What makes it hard is that I often have students that can range from Kindergarten to 12th Grade in the same class, so I had to adopt a "wide band" teaching method. I don't test or grade my students but I teach them on being a mentor/mentee, collaboration, and teamwork along with STEM. My students are almost always gifted. I find it amazing how sometimes a 5 year old will pick up a topic faster than a 18 year old. But the older students walk away with a better understanding of the topic, while the younger students are at least introduced to a topic they will be presented in school in the following years. It seems to work somehow.
I have often met young engineers right out of school. Some are arrogant, but they all seem to have one trait in commom... if they have a question they try to hide the fact that they don't know somthing. I can't tell you how many times a young engineer sensed that I would not look down on them, so they gravitate toward me. Then after I show them something and asked by someone else where did they learn it... they never say "Romsk showed me"... they always claim the credit to themselves. When I find out that such a thing happens I tell them I found out and I NEVER take time to show them anything again. In my class, my students can ask any question and they are NEVER looked down upon for asking. An I teach to give credit to those that taught them, be brave enough to admit you may not kniw somthing, but be clever and bright enough to show it is rare and it will be mastered in short time. Too bad this is taught by osmosis at the college level and in the work place.

How does this relate to the Arduino servo knob? 🤔

@@androofroo My comment was spawned by the fact that you mentioned that you teach these things to your students. Maybe my comment was not perfectly on topic for "knobs". I just thought I would share my experience. Since I retired, I teach people on all sorts of subjects all the time. One subject is I help Fiero owners get their cars running. So every video I watch, I pull tid bits out of them that helps me to teach others. Your video had such tid bits.

That makes sense. Thanks for clarifying 👍

In another of your videos recently you (at least it was a name like yours) used the pun "tool" to refer to me... I got it. So, in this video you are the knob [laugh].
