This was definitely at least the 6th best video I've watched of a man driving across a desert eating a dessert in a gold car whilst chatting to his wife in another country this week!! Superb. That car was awesome and the only fatal mistake was not bringing the gold nob extender back to the UK to serve out its retirement as a McDonalds saver menu delivery wagon for filming missions and as a back up/support car for the "I drove my convertible mini with no soft top through the Cairngorms in a Storm" winter special. I use the word special here carefully because thats exactly what you and this video are and were haha. It's been emotional from start to finish. That 'ol Stinkin' Lincoln looks like it's in great shape for it's age and I was pretty positive it wouldn't have any problems getting sold. I didn't think it would sell that fast, though.
Mate that hit me in the feels so bad, I was only emailing you a few weeks back about work because my dad was ill, 9 days later he died at home. Truly broke me, It’s sad but unfortunately life moves on and it doesn’t get easier but you learn to live with it.

You are right if you thought I would never spend 8k on that car. In the immortal words of skooly D" sitting in my Lincoln, thinking and stinking, see a young lady and my eye starts winking" SEMA or bust!!

That old Lincoln if you search “Def OJ” is the exact same car OJ Simpson advertised for Hertz rent a car the hire car division of FoMoCo and became synonymous with Def OJ’s and a group called themselves this and used one of these Lincoln’s in promo material 😂
Killed me when you talked about your dad and emotions 😢 my own dad is pretty terminal - finding it odd when the emotions hit 🥹 Great video as ever Mark

You never lose a legend he’ll be looking down on you smiling of achievements your doing and I think it’s time you buy one of them and send it on your track 😉
I’ve just seen the bit about you thinking of your dad! That was deep bro. I am dreading when my parents go. With that being said, time heals everything!! Stay up brother you’re doing amazingn
Thanks Liam, its bloody horrible, it freaks me when i think how shit his life was for years before he passed away.
@@MarkMcCann64 I can imagine Mark, you must be really doing him proud with the accomplishments you had done prior and now after, he will be watching so remember that and keep it moving brother. 💙
Great video Mark! always wanted to do this - How did you go about the process of registering and insuring the vehicle etc as a tourist?
I really wish you had filmed Jane's reaction of what you said about her hahaha. Class as always Mark. See You Next Tuesday 🙌

Bonnie and Clyde's car is in a casino in Primm (CA/NV border on I-15.
One of the most genuine RUclipsrs out there, love your content.
Hi mark. When you loose someone its easy to let it get to you but loss is like a rock it will drag you down if we let it but over time the rock will get smaller much easier to carry it will fit in your pocket as a constant reminder of the ones we lost it will allways remind us and there is nothing wrong with this rest in peace your dad.take care and all the best to you and your family.❤
You came all the way to the US and didn’t stop and see me?? I’ll remember that!😂😂just kidding!! Hope you enjoyed your time here. Unfortunately Kentucky isn’t close to Vegas or I would have been there too. See ya next Tuesday buddy.
Woah! Why so early?? Awesome! See you next Tuesday 🤘🏻
So you can watch it while you have your Sunday roast. See you next Tuesday
Lost my Dad when I was 25 on Halloween so this time of year is always tough. This is the first year since losing him 6 years ago I haven’t thought so much about the day we lost him but just him which was nicer.
That 'ol Stinkin' Lincoln looks like it's in great shape for it's age and I was pretty positive it wouldn't have any problems getting sold. I didn't think it would sell that fast, though.
It was in great shape. Crazy big though. I would of liked to of brought it back to UK, but shipping would of doubled cost
Mate that hit me in the feels so bad,
I was only emailing you a few weeks back about work because my dad was ill, 9 days later he died at home.
Truly broke me,
It’s sad but unfortunately life moves on and it doesn’t get easier but you learn to live with it.
And as for missing the girls, you should take them over to Tokyo in January for auto salon / rwb meet and all the influencers that gather for it.
I try to go every January and the place is life changing
Great video, awesome adventure. So good how much you missed your family - keep it up from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Thanks Mike, We are all back together again now. Shame Vegas does not suit a 4 year old
I've just subscribed after seeing you on AutoAlex, and I have to say this is one of the best videos I've seen!
What an amazing trip in a 44yr old car!
How many miles did you travel in the car to get to SEMA?
Lol he didn’t pay 9000 pounds Mark - your in America mate - it’s funny it’s going back to LA- your dad is with you brother that’s why it hits so hard - true guardian angel
That redbull 😂
Fresh for the bin men
Actually made me cry when he looked around to see if someone saw him.. just the whole of RUclips witnessed it.
Can totally relate to how that makes you feel and thinking of your dad I do exactly the same and don’t know why. Awesome video as usual will look forward to seeing the next
Gets me at the weirdest times, when I should be happy. Hope you are ok ❤
@@MarkMcCann64 yep like today I had an rc car delivered and me and my dad loved them just made me think about what he would want to upgrade. It’s a fiesta rally cross body so you know what’s coming next 😊I’m ok thank you just makes you think doesn’t it hope you’re ok too and it won’t get Easier, you will just find better ways of coping with situations
cracking video, the redbull can rolling into the bin was alot funnier than it should have been 🤣
I would love to do a road trip alone but I'm a single parent so life says no 😢 it would be cool for a bunch of people on a set budget ! all on there own, setting off from different locations to all meet up at a certain place
Anyone notice, those were the old Top Gear places that the trio went to - Not sure if planned but great story line so far. Cheers Mark
Your making me tear up now, your a legend mate, and you keep talking about him is keeping him Alive in our thoughts ❤
Respect Mark. I flew to Benidorm on my own last year and I had similar sensations of euphoria.
Fair play mark no sat nav and touched me when ya talked about ya dad god rest his soul new account John nicol got some catching up to do
Mark with the car content we all need on this Sunday evening (in the UK) thank you sir
Omg!! How times have changed... I sold the exact same lead sled 10yrs ago for $2500 cad. Oh well glad your comfortable and you can rent out the trunk as a bachelor suite in LA😅😂 I loved that Nitro circus show. I saw it 2years ago in Vancouver. It was sweet. Did you get your kicks on route 66?? It's a fun trip. I could only imagine being on the way to SEMA!! Hahahaha I wondered if you'd end up driving on the wrong side of the road. You are right if you thought I would never spend 8k on that car. In the immortal words of skooly D" sitting in my Lincoln, thinking and stinking, see a young lady and my eye starts winking" SEMA or bust!!
Nice one Mark and I will be honest I thought when it broke down you were going to loose your shirt and get GBH of the earhole but you came out tops.
Thanks for making me smile…… and ur a C word for making me cry!
Sorry. not ideal on a sunday for me to drag everyone down haha
I really se my self in you, my dad is my best freind, and i think of him often and cry. And i love to do stuff on my own. And when you talked about your wife, ❤ i have the same but to my kids
That car buyer needs an oscar. Bloody brilliant video Mark, loved it
Mark your feelings for your Dad is only natural, but he lives on in you and your family, Jane and Senna x apologies for my spelling but I'm sure everyone will understand.
That old Lincoln if you search “Def OJ” is the exact same car OJ Simpson advertised for Hertz rent a car the hire car division of FoMoCo and became synonymous with Def OJ’s and a group called themselves this and used one of these Lincoln’s in promo material 😂
Killed me when you talked about your dad and emotions 😢 my own dad is pretty terminal - finding it odd when the emotions hit 🥹
Great video as ever Mark
It doesn’t get any easier. Hope you are ok
@@MarkMcCann64strange when things hit us though…. We are so badly equipped 🤦♂️
Anyways - can you go do another jump eh! In reverse this time 😅
Epic video again mark!
Mix of emotions throughout
From 16:09 to 19:26 this is the mark we love to see! Thankyou for bringing us on your journey
Your dad would be proud mark, keep doing what your doing, smashing it 💯
