韩国选手正反手转换很差，特别是反手转正手。主要考反手防守变线和搏杀。正手技术基本是二流水平。樊振东开始发球不严谨，都是半出台。后来改发正手短球，主动变对方正手，并且加强侧身。对方就没办法了。和奥运会张继科那场比赛非常相似。
