I currently have the Katana V2. The thing is LOUDDD, and sounds amazing. It appears that there's not much difference between the V2 and V2X other than size and power of the sub. With that said. If you're cramped for space then sure get the V2x. It apparently is on sale currently. Might be worth the pickup.
Seems like a pretty good bang for your buck Soundbar, I always use my headset but sometimes a soundbar would be preferred so may pick this up. Also, noticed you only have auto-captions on your videos. Professional captions can help make your content more accessible and even increase your SEO through accurate keywords. I sent you an email with more info if interested. Love the content.
i want to buy this but the amount of people comment on the huge downside of power saving mode (which apparently cannot be stopped) is stopping me. also , can you share about the surround experience? like in small room is it sounds ok for movies and gaming?
Do you think it's worth the extra 40 dollars for the V2 instead of the V2X? I enjoy feeling the bass when playing games or watching videos/movies or listening to music
Hi there. Great review. I have a trivial question regarding this; When you put it to standby, does the display go off completely? I have the Creative Stage V2 soundbar, and when I put it in to standby, it'll still show -- lit up at the front, and it's very bright in a dark bedroom when trying to sleep.
The V2X I can't remember I'm afraid what the state of the standby mode is. But I'm currently testing the Katana SE which is essentially the V2X without the subwoofer and the standby light on there is a small orange light on top.
Is the V2 worth the extra $50? Looking for something to use with my pc, and am space constrained so can't use larger speakers without a lot of sacrifice.
I couldn't see it making a huge amount of difference, especially at low to mid volume levels. I've not actually heard the original one to directly compare, but there's not a huge difference in bass power.
I have a 4,500 watt PA hooked up to my PC. And I DO want to annoy the neighbors. Nothing like the sound of realistic gunfire and glorious sounds of all out war at 6:30 am .... on a Sunday. (▀̿Ĺ̯▀̿ ̿) Get them used to what's coming.
They refreshed it but still no wireless connectivity for a £200+ sub is a joke. Its got everything else. I'd rather wait for either Katana v3 or Razer lv3.
@@TechNuovo I've decided going for Razer lv2 pro or lv3 once its out. Lv2 pro has everything you can even control sub with your phone Bluetooth app but might wait for lv3 for wireless dedicated ir remote or get v2 pro when it becomes cheaper as it is equipped with a wireless sub and Bluetooth app is kinda future proof because remote can break.

Not much difference at all practically though. I had the v2x sub under my desk so it was right next to me.

Hi, I'm facing the choice of v2 or v2x katana right now. The price of both is practically the same, which will be better to choose?
Regards 😊
V2X will give your desk a bit of flair with the cool RGB effects. 😁
Great video mate, thanks. Please, is it good for listening to music?
It's good for music. I enjoyed it anyway.
@@TechNuovo Thanks mate, really apreciate. Cheers

There is no real surround experience with this. It's a 2.1 soundbar. It sounds decent but it's not going to give you surround sound.

The V2X is slimmer. But the base is still very powerful on the smaller sub of the V2X. I'd say it's more personal preference.
Is the integrated headphone AMP powerful enough to properly drive my Sennheiser HD600's? (They're nominally rated for 300 ohm.)
I personally wouldn't recommend it for this purpose.
So it cannot match a G6 wow that’s poor

The V2 has a bigger sub over the V2X. Is it worth it? I wouldn't say so. Not for the small amount of extra power.
What is the difference between this and the V2?
Not a huge one tbh. Subwoofer size I think is the main thing.
do you think the original sound blaster base is stronger then the v2x because I was thinking of getting v2x but using old sound blaster bass

Well, this was confusing :) I was like.. wait a sec.. I can't have commented on this video! Nice Avatar btw ;)
@@FiliusFidelis wow im highg
does this soundbar support 24bit/96khz via optical?
Yes
Ok so why is the Sound Blaster Katana V2X $50 less than the Sound Blaster Katana V2 ?
Because of size, V2X is smaller
V2 has stronger bass and the V2X has thinner / weaker subwoofer.

This is true. Wireless connectivity would be great. Let's hope for a V3 with a wireless sub 🤞

Waste of money many better soundbar options at that price love SB dacamps G6 is a beast. As a close up system I get it but for the price no
It's okay to be poor mate lol 😅
Thanks for the feedback!
