Suburban Long Island is commonly perceived as a wealthy white enclave. But a booming Latino immigrant population has dramatically changed its reality, which has sometimes caused conflict between the longtime locals and their new neighbors.
Meet Joselo Lucero, an Ecuadorian immigrant whose brother was killed in a hate-crime attack in suburban Long Island. Since his brother's death, he travels around New York giving talks about anti-immigrant discrimination.
