Thank you for this video... Thousands of us born in UK & USA etc were Not taught Igbo by our parents...I'm over 45 years and wish to learn to teach my children....Its not too late to learn.
Currently teaching my daughter igbo words. Her fathers side is igbo. These are some great phrases! I will be giving her a word or phrase of the day so that we both can learn
I love this video and others by this lovely lady. She is so practical and down to earth and her pronunciations are clear and slow enough for a beginner like me to practice each one before passing on to the next. Igbo is such a melodic and beautiful language and I am looking forward to being able to (one day!) converse with my wonderful Igbo husband, in his own native language like he does so skillfully in mine.
Am not igbo but am about to get married to igbo man but the people of my husband to be said before they're son will get married to me I most no how to speak igbo, so I found this your page somedays ago I pray I learn fast 🙏
You have the best Chanel on RUclips, I will learn a lot from you thank you I have learned so from watching nollywood movies for the Last 10 years trying to put the peices together, how do you pronoun ( what is it.) And what is the correct spelling
daalu rinne nne. I recently got your Chanel you just scored yourself one more subscriber. I'm in a journey of learning igbo language and you just about to make my journey more easy
tq for the lesson, u r a good teacher but this language is very difficult for me. my husband speak kind of fast and i cannot grab a word he was saying so i kind of gave up learning ☺️☺️ ....after 14 years of marriage i still cant speak igbo, so does my children. we only know the word aka gum...😂😂😂😂
Ok, You have to decide when and if you want to learn the language , and then take it one step at a time. It takes a long time to learn a language, but with the right support and motivation you can do it.

This channel mainly uses Igbo izugbe which is formal written / spoken Igbo, used in Education, Publishing and Broadcasting. Igbo Izugbe is a mix of Igbo dialects
Thanks for your question - 'It is me' is 'Ọ bụ mụ' , not 'ọ mụ' . 'Ọ'ụ mụ' is exactly 'It's me' - a shortened version of 'ọ bụ mụ' . 'Ọ mụ' doesn't have the stress that carries bụ over to mụ.

I'm curious what dialect you mostly follow in your videos?
I follow Igbo Izugbe - Central written Igbo
By the way what dialect is this cuz for us anabarras we say daalu hinne instead of rinne
This channel mainly uses Igbo izugbe which is formal written / spoken Igbo, used in Education, Publishing and Broadcasting. Igbo Izugbe is a mix of Igbo dialects
Aunty I’ve never seen “it’s me” spelled in that way. I thought it would be "ọ mụ"?
Thanks for your question - 'It is me' is 'Ọ bụ mụ' , not 'ọ mụ' . 'Ọ'ụ mụ' is exactly 'It's me' - a shortened version of 'ọ bụ mụ' . 'Ọ mụ' doesn't have the stress that carries bụ over to mụ.
What’s the difference between biagodi and biagodu
No difference - It's just the dialectical variation based on which part of Igboland the person is from.
Odeyo is also a greeing
In Igbo language? Can you tell me what part of Igboland please?
