✔️Disclaimer: We are a developing country and have all-class people and enthusiasts living. For some Rs1000 is a budget, for some it may be 3k or up to 5k. For many, it might be 20k to 50k or more, if you have excellent purchasing power, incredible!! I still consider up to the 5k mark segment as a budget iems and headphones. Beyond that, even those might be expensive for me.
✔️Disclaimer: Guys, this is for every hp/iem or earphone and not specific to this only:-There's always a deviation in the frequency response as you increase the volume. More volume either gives you more bass or more treble in some cases. Sound signature can differ from one to another depending upon your source device, DAC, audio format, and compression 🙏
✔️Audio equipment sounds best when they get warm, so give a little time to your DAC and Amp for a warm-up. You will surely hear the changes in your audio.
🔴Tips: 👇
✔️Always try to use some good EQ app like wavelet (for android) or Dolby Atmos on your mobile in case you are not getting the sound you want. ✔️Getting deep bass: always choose accurate-sized ear tips for your ear. Foam ear tips give you the BEST isolation and therefore best bass response.
✔️Always listen on low to mid volumes so that your eardrums have a long run to sense and judge the high frequencies spectrum.
✔️DAC doesn't always guarantee to produce a heavenly sound to you, sometimes it makes the audio worst (especially the bad ones)
✔️Sometimes an aftermarket cable can improve the sound quality of your iems. But it's not completely true.
✔️ multi-driver earphones do not always sound super good, sometimes a single full-range dynamic driver creates wonder in your music experience.

I'm a basshead and I'm new to the iem territory. I've heard kz castor is a good bassy iem.
I dont know other iem models that are cheap and good. But if I were to take OnePlus Nord buds 2 and kz castor, how good would it be when it comes to bass in comparison to these both? I would've made a better comparison if I knew other models, but Nord buds 2 would be the bassiest thing I've heard under 4k INR. Let me know your thoughts 🙏🏻

there are a very few iems that crosses the xbass territory like 7hz legato, and kiwi ears quartet. Rest.. most of the iems have more or less same sort of bass minus xbass the sony has. These iems will give you adequqte bass... don't know about buds 2 and castor.

Hey, I am going to buy an IEM under 8k in the sale. I am upgrading from BLON BL-03, which I really liked since I picked them after vising concept kart and listening to them over HBBxQKZ. Blons had better bass response and were less muddy. But blons lack when it comes to gaming. Infact they are pretty bad when it comes to gaming, though they are really fun.
I usually listen to LOFI, chill-fi and chill hip hop kind of songs. I also use them for long duration, so I usually listen to music at low volume.
Another thing to add is, I won't be buying any DAC and will use mobile for gaming (I like casually playing FPS games on mobile) and my laptop and IPAD for other stuff. SO I also don't want high impedance IEMs which need power to drive them properly.
I need an IEM that can upgrade them music experience and also be good at gaming. EA500 LMs have been getting the hype but is there any time when any IEM is not being hyped in the community? Is it good given my use case? Also are there any better alternatives I can look into?
I'll be going to buy IEMs but need a list so that I can try and compare them.

I bought Salnotes Zero 7hz a year ago on your recommendation. I m a detailed listener I listen to old Bollywood songs, Ghazals nd very few new Bollywood songs like Vida karo and all. I listen to Artist like Sonu Nigam, Mohammad Rafi Sahab, Kishore da, Lata ji, Mehdi Hasan Sahab, Ghulam Ali , Hariharan ji. I also listen to peepy songs but very often. I think they are not very different from the one you are using. Same price segments generally have similar sound quality. Yincrow X6 is slightly different than Monk.

it's difficult to get soundstage with most of the iems. Generally gaming iems have bunch of staging but then they lack quality for music.

As u said u need clear vocal and clearity your zero have the great vocal and crarity u May not the simgot stuffs vocal cause they got a bit spicy on some tracks but they can be controlled by swaping tips and cable( though it varies person to person) other then that in my opinion they don't have any problem (ew200 and ea500) . I didn't tried the ea500lm till now well LM drivers will give a pinch more details on playing dsd files( heard from some others hobbiest).
