"Hey you guys!!" originally came from a PBS kids show in the 1970s called The Electric Company. Rita Moreno shouted it at the top of the opening theme song. I was like Pavlov's dog when I heard that; I'd just go running to the TV.

Short Round. We fell in love with him in the Temple of Doom, and he wins an Oscar. Watch the reunions with both Brendan Fraser and Harrison Ford.

Fun fact I've visited the jail they escaped from, it's the goonies museum, the beach, and you can do a tour at the cave, and see the goonies house, here in Oregon

Yep, Ke Huy Quan won an Oscar for Everything Everywhere All At Once, and yes he was also Short Round in Temple of Doom.

I love this movie. It’s everything. As a little kid I still loved it. I believe in keeping things reasonable but also not wrapping kids in cotton wool.
Depends on the child and where they at. That’s why it’s important to know your kid.

After filming was done. Donner needed a vacation from all the kids so he went on vacation to Hawaii.
Spielberg as a joke, flew out all the Goonie kids and the Fratelli's to his vacation home.
Joe Pantoliano confirmed that it was a true.

"Hey You Guys" was the opening to an educational kids show called the Electric Company in the 70's with Bill Cosby, Morgan Freeman and Rita Moreno. It usually ran with like Sesame Street and Mr Rogers Neighborhood on PBS. They had all sorts of sketches aimed at elementary school aged kids. They even had a run of Spiderman stories at the end of later episodes in partnership with Marvel comics.
