Very nicely put together video. Also very nostalgic to see Snatchems and Sunderland Point once again -- first time in about a 40 years. BTW, Sambo's Grave used to be called "Black Sambo's Grave" back then -- before PC kicked in and rewrote history.
Not a story. This was the standard technique used by the Royal Navy to "enlist" new recruits. It's reckoned the reason for glass bottomed tankards was so that you could sup your beer while keeping an eye out for pressgangers who would otherwise whack you over the head and drag you back to the ship.
Nice video Kieran and a lovely place shame about the puncture was it a rose thorn? try The schwalbe black jack tyres they have a puncture protection I use them never had a problem thanks for sharing Kieran
@@MOUNTAINGOAT66 I have marathon's on my Brompton. I have done over two thousand miles on them never had a problem. I have even cycled to France from Newcastle with them great tyre's but apparently there a bugger to get off on a Brompton if you do get one lol

It was a tiny nail. I've got a black jack on the front wheel. I had to swap out the other a while back. They are good. Good shout.
I can vouch for Schwalbe, got some Marathons plus tyres on my Mountain Bike and Hybrid. Defo the best to have for much reduced puncture episodes.
