My father a Lutheran Pastor for over 70 years, chose A Mighty Fortress Is Our God to be sung at his funeral. Was 98 when he passed and had the pleasure of taking care of him for 5 years at my Bed & Breakfast.

Such a beautiful and powerful hymn. Don't get me wrong, this was a great performance, but I expected a more exuberant ending, that last verse is so powerful I kept waiting for an organ crescendo!!
