To be fair, It's only Zhongli and Maybe, Venti who actually destroyed Khaenri'ah. If you look at Baal's story quest, Raiden actually stayed in Inazuma (because monsters attacked at the same time) while her sister is the one who destroyed it. She came in late and the moment she came in, the fight's already over and her sister's dead. She actually says it herself in the 2nd story quest.
It's possible that not even they are at fault. The people only ever said it was the gods, never specifically the archons. And if I remember it correctly, each archon has something to deal with during the cataclysm so I think they would be busy protecting their nations rather than destroying one

She knew that Celestia was watching the gods who went to Khaenriah and The would know that the one fighting was Ei not Makoto so she went to Khaenriah to keep Ei a secret from Celestia. No one can imagine what they could do to Ei if they knew . Ei arrived When the fighting was over and when it was over Celestia stopped watching the gods so it was pretty much safe for Ei to go to Khaenriah at that moment. Makoto tried to fight so Celestia wouldnt notice that Ei was the one fighting all the time but she was weak in the end she died. She didnt do that big damage to Khaenriah tho The most damage was made by The Pyro Archon since Khaenriah is still on fire . I know that the Unknown God attacks Lumine and Aether at the beginning, but why are Zhongli, Venti, and Raiden so surprised when they see her? Secondly, I know that Kaeya is revealed to be "the descendant of the Abyss Order Founder" in Sumeru, but what is Kaeya's role?
in my theory al combined i have discoverd that zhongli is the one who actually destroyed it has nothing to do with venti or raiden shougun and the other archons because thay made a conract altogether(its only my theory pls dont hate)
Technically this is also incorrect the only confirmed and Canon surviver is dainsleif With kaeya it's only hinted at and mostly theorised so kaeya being from khaenriah isn't canon Yet.
