The new Diluc Event confirmed that Kaeya doesn't have royal blood. And that Kaeya likes to play pirate that he didn't think it would end up as a wounded eye. It seems he got that when he fought with Diluc. 🙂

no, kaeya had the eyepatch before he got into the fight with diluc, it’s mentioned in the genshin impact manga on webtoon

Well keaya was already confirmed not from khaenriah his ancestors are from khaenriah Keaya wasn't there when the war took place or he would've been cursed there's lots of things proven that he's not from khaenriah I think ppl are just overreacting and spreading false theory as true so keaya can get attention just like the anime community(this isn't referring to the video I'm referring to those who spread false news about keaya being from khaenriah when he literally ages normally however only his ancestors are)
@⋞𝐚𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐬⋟ Yes I'm aware of that but the theory was already rejected bc it was stated that keaya's ancestors are from khaenriah however he isn't at all he may look similar but that's bc of his ancestors plus keaya has no such knowledge about khaenriah and the Cataclysm happened 500 years ago and there's nothing about keaya being alive for 500 years or he would've already been caught however the chinese VA mentioned keaya has a big surprise which might be that he's part of the abyss but I wouldn't go as far and say he's from khaenriah

No matter how many times I see a theory about Kaeya's connection to Khaenri'ah, I still prefer the one where Kaeya was the last Prince and Lumine and Aether were the Heirs that went missing on that mountain.

Well now after hidden strife event we learned that Kaeya is not of Royal Blood and he’s just covering his right eye with an eyepatch because of a scar he got during his fight with Diluc.

@ireallysimpforkaeya9480 well it wasn't really confirmed why he actually wears it like we don't know if it was bc of the scar or not because as u Said he wore even as a child he never took it off and when u look at the other khaenri'ahs they're also hiding their right eye with an eyepatch so we can only assume that it's something related to khaenri'ah and kaeya also said before that he inherited the eyepatch from his grandfather and everyone of course thought he was lying but since pierro is literally an alberich and wears an eyepatch on his right eye then there actually must be a deeper reason and meaning to kaeyas eyepatch and we could also assume that pierro is kaeyas grandfather or just a relative of his
