FANTASTIC STAFF OFFICER'S CONFEDERATE CUFF BUTTON and ALABAMA VOLUNTEER CORPS CUFF BUTTON MATT 🙌👏🙌 My blood would boil too if I found terrific relics like that. Bug Congrats and Happy Hunting My Friend 😀👏
I don't have to tell you what 2 killer buttons you found in 1 hunt! Those are stunners for sure. You never know what you're going to find around those old houses and plantations...great hunt.
Matt those buttons are flipping amazing, I can't believe the condition of them. The sandy soil sure helped preserve them. just beautiful! Stay after it, I want to see what else you find. Hope I can join you sometime this year. Congratulations on a couple of beautiful Confederate relics.
Fantastic Matt! We may be going to Savannah in June and again for Thanksgiving. If you are interested in hooking up for a hunt I will keep you up to speed on our travel plans
First off I'm jealous.... 60 degrees, dang man that's Awesome diggin weather already! Congrats Matt, two killer CS buttons early in the season! They cleaned up beautifully! Nice finds in addition to the cuffs and truly enjoyed your vid! Thanks for sharing and HH
MAN OH MAN MATT!!!! Awesome awesome buttons!! So great that you went back to that site! I would've been easy to say, "Aww, that's such a long walk, I think I'll try something closer." Congratulations for going the extra mile, literally, to get to the spot, and then to have it pay off like that! How cool!! Loved the video, looking forward to more finds from this site! Best wishes, Chris
Matt a long time Sub. And when I heard one of your best hunts ever. That tickled me to death. Couldn't wait to join u on this adventure! One of my top 5 metal detecting channels all time. Always Quality!! Thanks for sharing with us.
Awesome finds Matt, I love it when a relic from that time period pops out. Maybe we'll cross paths sometime since you seem to be close to my "neck of the woods". HH
Thanks Moe - yes, I'm still tweaking some settings on the Deus. I'm using 4.0 and considering the upgrade to 4.1 since I do run the M16 pinpointer. HH!
Congrats on the buttons- the AVC is an awesome find- I found one 4 years ago and couldnt believe it - yours especially since it made it through the war to be dropped near the end or after- wonder if your house site was a former officer ? btw in your lesser finds i think I saw a ramrod tip at upper right at 7:14
Thanks Dave - I'm looking forward to what else might be in the ground at this location. I was thinking ramrod tip on that piece too, but it's hollow all the way through. I thought they were solid on one end...? Still some wood inside it when I cleaned it out. HH!
I didnt realize that power lines affected detectors from that far away. That is probably mu problem on one of my sites. What did you do to adjust for the power lines? I have an Ace 400.
Yes, those powerlines give off a lot of EMI (electromagnetic interference) that can make your detector sound erratic. Usually have to reduce the sensitivity a little to stabilize your machine. Some detectors are more affected than others. HH!
Thanks! I posted a video back on November 25th with my Deus settings. Lot's of EMI at this location, so I've been hunting in 17khz with TX Power at 2. Otherwise, same settings I put in that vid. HH!
Congratulations Matt on another great hunt the deus brings home the goods again lol. Is the item at 7:30 not a wick guide for an old oil lamp keep up the good work buddy GL&HH Simon p.s I'm having a subscriber giveaway for reaching 200 subs minelab themed lol if any of your subscribers are interested just pop along

Yes, you don't find this kinda soil in GA very often, so I feel very fortunate. Thanks for watching - HH!
Very nice button finds.
I found a droop wing Dowler exactly like yours about 20 years ago in eastern N.C. The few I've seen usually have a lot of gold left on them.
Wow Matt, what great buttons. Congratulation. Great hunt.

Congrats to you, Matt! Very nice recoveries!
