It's over quick. Just try and learn as much as you can. Once school is over you start life. Thankfully for me, even though I was a terrible student, I went to a private school and also read everyday on the bus to and from school and sometimes I would skip school and hang out at the library. I ended up as a tradie and am so thankful I didnt have to be forced to study units at university that i had no interest in at all, to get a piece of paper that everybody else has now, diluting the value of it, and hitting you with a nasty bill at the end. I was planning to do political science(so original) back in 2005, which my friend did and would complain about feminists teachers. I cant begin to imagine how bad higher education must be now, but by now you should know its not education, its indoctrination. Now thats got nothing to do with the problems you are facing now im guessing, but school is for children. once i grew up id look back on my school days with lots of cringe. lots of saying stupid things
The “point” of the story is about having an accurate sense of your skills and worth which the kid in the story lacks through the whole thing he constantly faces perceived hardship and moulds his whole personality around being an ironclad main character who gets the girl, becomes popular and beats his bullies but as the story unfolds all of these things happen momentarily or not at all and by the end of it he’s back to square one after every scenario, it’s pretty much a critique of those people from high school who had a cartoonish main character complex and viewed every inconvenience as an injustice to be rectified. Basically don’t be serious about School in a social sense it’s a waste of time cos it’s over just as quick as it starts.
