a little hack regarding the aha deodorants: my partner and I have started putting the ordinary's glycolic acid toner in a spray bottle and it works just the same for much cheaper! you can add a bit of scent if you want, and you can also use it on top of your clothes if you've gotten a bit sweaty, which is an absolute game-changer if you're commuting with public transport, haha
I was just about to comment the same thing! Though I use a soaked reusable cotton round. I'll have to try the spray bottle. I have hyperhidrosis and glycolic acid + antiperspirant has been the most effective way to keep smell and sweat at bay.
I have found potassium crystal (it is a solid block - looks like an ice cube) works great for 24 hours - I wet the cube, rub for 30 seconds on each armpit, done.
So excited about all the videos lately, the spread of aesthetic topics, and how eloquently they are talked about, and just hearing about the different thing! (Clothes, makeup, styling, and skincare, and that wonderful one that was a gift list!)
My husband and I swear by the kosas deodorant…it works incredible for us, we never stink! And putting it on before other natural deodorant works perfect too. Love I! The necessaire doesn’t work as well for us. PS - try the blue kosas one if u don’t like the green
Laughing as I'm saying, honestly am I now being enjoined to reject certain smells I adore on the grounds that they have become passe? Hannah Hannah. Bread and cookies baking will never go out of vogue, nor will my classic white florals, musks and beachy air scents, and so there.
I think the philosophy of "do I like using it" works for almost all skincare. Although some will help with certain skin issues no skincare product or combination of will make dark spots disappear, will make it so one never has break outs, will keep one looking noticably younger etc. Most of it is just nice to use and helps a little bit. Which is why I mostly view anything above cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen just an everyday luxury.
Nice to see other fans of the Ordinary glycolic acid toner. It's so good. The LRP lipikar cream is my go-to moisturizer for my face right now bc my skin is so dry from retinoids and the weather. It's too thick to put all over my face but it works under my eyes and anywhere I'm sensitive or peeling.
Serum deodorants: TLDR, if you have sensitive skin, get the Necessaire over the Kosas. I have extremely sensitive skin. I am allergic to a lot of fragrances (itchy, awful rashes). Natural, artificial, doesn’t matter but essential oils are the worst. So finding a deodorant for me is very challenging. there are fragrance free conventional deodorants and antiperspirants. I don’t sweat much or smell much but none of them have ever worked for me. The Necessaire really works and does not give me a rash on my underarms. I sweat but I never smell. They used to have a fragrance free version, its hard to find now but I can use their eucalyptus scent without issue (happens sometimes, even if you have a fragrance allergy you aren’t always allergic to every fragranced product, just a lot of them). The Kosas not only does not work as well for me (sometimes I wound up smelling) but even the fragrance free version can sometimes give me rashes on my underarms. It’s just very harsh.
I felt the same way about the Rhode Peptide Serum. Completely underwhelmed! I would highly recommend Verso Nourishing Mask for that thick moisturizer you’re looking for. It is very creamy and substantial. It can be applied as a moisturizer and a mask (thick layer for 15 or so minutes and rub the remaining cream into your skin afterwards). My face always feels so hydrated and plump the morning after I use it. 😍
I really like trying different serums and actives. I really have issues with Vitamin C products. I did find a Korean gel that seems to work. I’m not sure how “active” it is, but it does the anti-oxidant magic.
I would love to know how the rhode glazing milk compares to the Ilia skin milk? I have the ilia and love it so much but the price is no joke 😅 Also your hair is looking gorgeoussssss ❤
I will never understand people who like the smell of tomatoes. Tomatoes smell vile. My dad once said that tomatoes are the opposite of coffee, they smell awful and taste great. I told him he was crazy because tomatoes taste exactly as foul as they smell.
I will admit I’m a lover of all things tomato and therefore biased, but in defense of the soap HLP showed - it’s scented like tomato *leaves*, which to me feels like an entirely separate smell from tomatoes themselves. Maybe you hate both and that’s fine! But if you haven’t smelled a tomato leaf scent, i personally really enjoy their almost-spicy botanical earthy aroma.
Tomato leaf scent is horrible - but I understand that people like it. I like geranium leaf scent, and lots of people hate that. Whenever I’m cooking tomatoes, I hate the smell of them until I add salt. Then they smell fine.
Love your content so much ❤ I had checked and Elemis actually has a fragrance free version of that cleansing balm if others are partial to the scent :)
waaait i thought we all needed to buy the ilia skin milk? i don’t want to buy that AND the rhode. which do we pick? and other creators who have compared the two say Haruharu black rice milk essence is better than both and the most affordable. i haven’t pulled the trigger on any due to confusion. can we get a comparison plsssss? :)
This feels a little overwhelming. I wish you had hammered home more of the "again, don't buy these things unless you actually need them and they are in your budget".
I had this problem for years, all serums seemed to sit on top of my skin and never absorb. I mean antioxidant serums. I found the Paula’s Choice Ultralight Antioxidant Concentrate serum. It sinks in, is pleasant. It’s the only serum I use, been using it for years now.
I bought the new osea body wash because I LOVE the scent. I too want to marry it. And the smell of the body wash does not disappoint. But does anyone else feel like the texture is a little…bodily fluid adjacent? Slippery even. I don’t hate it. But I think about it every time.
there’s soo many plant extracts/ essential oils in this and a little light on the brightening goodies. i probably wouldn’t be that hyped for a review. now the cosrx or numbuzin or even naturium dark spot serums now we’re talking :)
@dumalacath I am very particular about the texture of products and this is one of the only few Vitamin C products I can stand. So I am still very curious about how other people perceive the texture of this product 🙂
My big takeaway - use less conditioner for bigger hair. I've been doing it wrong. Love any and all hair tips. 2B fine (around my face) wave curls - slightly more course in the back. I also need to review your prior hair videos before I make my next hair appointment. An absolute inspiration. And now I want to go through my body care and facial care.
oh gosh okay I'm going to have to save the rest of this video until after I pack, but we've hit upon one of my chronic skincare beefs: what IS a "dime sized amount" supposed to mean anyway?? is it an equivalent volume to a dime (that's not much at all!) Is it a dollop with the same diameter as a dime (that's a lot)? Or a sphere? That's even more!!! And who even really knows how big a dime is these days anyway????
I'd love to see this review but with a focus on eco-friendly packaging. I'm getting to a point in my life where I'm ready to sacrifice performance for packaging that isn't full of plastic. I don't want to and feel like I shouldn't have to, but let's pretend it's almost 2025 and we are prioritizing the earth 😅
While Beauty Pie may have good products, the entire company is encouraging people to pay for a subscription to access white label products at a “discount”. I feel like this is specifically designed to encourage customers to buy things they don’t really need. Again. Kind of antithetical to the spirit of this channel, imo.

amazing
I use this every day on the backs of my arms and it’s made my KP go away almost entirely.
I have found potassium crystal (it is a solid block - looks like an ice cube) works great for 24 hours - I wet the cube, rub for 30 seconds on each armpit, done.
Glycolic acid kills bacteria that causes odor, but it does nothing to stop sweat.
Your hair is looking just delightfully insouciant!!
Omg is insouciant the new demure?!
The texture is GIVING
So excited about all the videos lately, the spread of aesthetic topics, and how eloquently they are talked about, and just hearing about the different thing! (Clothes, makeup, styling, and skincare, and that wonderful one that was a gift list!)
That Osea oil is beyond belief good - my crepey legs look juicy and firmer. Miraculous!

I can't stop looking at your earrings! Can you do a jewelry collection video sometime?
Would love a dupe video for the Loewe tomato scent. ❤️

Absolutely love HLP on skincare ❤️
The way I squealed when "The Tomato Leaf Soap!!" before you even showed it on camera!!!!
10:46 love this comparison. I’ve tried the nessisare and kosas. Personally the kosas seems to last a little longer

I love Clinique Sparkle Skin scrub. I mix it with face oil, and use it to exfoliate. It's the best.

Origin do my favourite night cream. It feels so good and smells amazing. I only get it every so often though because budget
hey! I just love all your videos! ♥️

hahaha i love your dads take on coffee and tomatoes. but yeah the scent is not tomatoes, it’s a nice green leaf scent

Would love a hair tutorial/products used:)
Love a good skincare review. I'm almost out of hand cream looking for some ideas.
Love the hairstyle!
coconut bandaids! LOLLLL
calling Santal 33 passé? fierce.

RHODE hands down
yes, the ilia is amazing but I dunno if I'd spend that much on a skin milk again 😅 would love to get something cheaper when my ilia runs out
Hello Hannah!🤗 what about Oneskin cream?
Yes-same hesitance when just out of the shower. Can we please get a wipe-warmer-style shelf/box to tend to our lotions/oils?
This feels a little overwhelming. I wish you had hammered home more of the "again, don't buy these things unless you actually need them and they are in your budget".
Serums have always scared me, they never seem to soak in for me

Hola! Me encanta tu contenido, por favor activa la traducción al español 😊
I am curious what you would think about the "Goodal Green Tangerine Vita C Dark Spot Care Serum". I am curious how you would describe it 😊

@@alinamaria3147 hannah is very good at describing textures that’s for sure!

i’ve always been perplexed by this! dimes are flat. most lotion or shampoo type products do not sit in a flat circle. so hard to compare!
I understand it to be the same diameter as a dime. Which is generous and probably more than you need.
Has anyone tried Akt deodorant? I keep getting served ads for it and it sounds great but also, ads

Ahhhh...the age old problem of having too much on one's face plate. 😂❤

Wow you must be so overwhelmed by skincare. I know I am, and it’s not all in my house. 🤎🤎🤎
