Olsie Asum yes i always try to carry on only :) during my trip in scotland the places we stayed had laundry machines so i was able to pack light and just wash my clothes!!
You came in Helsinki just the right time. After that day it has been raining literally everyday. Typical finnish autumn weather but you avoided it :D Next time if you come, visit autumn or winter time in Lapland for couple days, it's totally different in the north!

this video is such a relief because it's one of those weeks where my body is so tired, but my mind wants to go somewhere. thank you for sharing your adventures!
I live in Helsinki and I loved this video! You should visit Eira the next time you come to Helsinki. It’s full of old, colorful houses and pretty little parks!
You captured Helsinki in a perfect way and showed the best parts of it from the perspective of a tourist. That's really cool and it's refreshing that someone can appreciate the beauty of Finland without just going to Lapland. I'm so happy you visited our country and hopefully you'll come back some day to see more!
I’m surprised how much you were able to see in such a short amount of time, especially since you take some time to film. The city looks like it’s a great place to visit!
I'm studying tourism and hospitality management here in Helsinki and I really love to watch videos like these of our beautiful capital. It makes me so happy that people are enjoying their stay here, hope you'll come again you still have so much to see !

Awww, this vlog is so warm and cozy ☺️ itching to visit Helsinki now! I would also like a video on how you plan for the trips, decide on which sights to see etc. And just in general how you plan your content (even the simple vlogs) and sticking to the plan! I need to visit Helsinki one way. Usually my lavovers are really short but like in your case a long layover on purpose allows you to explore another country on your way back home. I am never entirely sure if I can leave the airport.
You did a really good job making the best of the little time you had! The library visits were a nice idea, as Finns tend to appreciate their libraries, and use them a lot. 😊 Also, the salmon soup is well worth trying, glad you got to it, it's quite delicius. If you come to Finland again, I recommend June or August - June (before midsummer) is probably the best time. July in Helsinki (and June after midsummer) is.... quiet. People are on their summer holidays, and tend to be somewhere else than Helsinki. July is great in that pepople have been waiting for the summer, and are happy with the warm weather, and the long days. The cafes and bars have terrases open outside, and the nature is at it's most beautiful.
Hope you have a great trip! I linked a blog post i made that has all the locations mapped out if that helps too :) plus definitely download the airport train app (linked in the blog too)

Finnish salmon soup recipe: 6 potatoes 2 carrots 2 onions 800 ml of water ½ teaspoon of allspice peppercorns 1 bay leaf 400 grams of salmon or rainbow trout fillet 200 ml of cream 1½ teaspoon of salt 90 ml of fresh dill 1. Wash, peel and chop the vegetables. Boil them with allspice and bay leaf until nearly done. 2. Remove the skin and bones from the salmon. Cut the flesh as cubes. 3. Add cream, salt and salmon. Boil in a low heat for about 5 minutes. 4. Add dill and serve with rye bread. You're welcome.
thanks for the beautiful video of my second home, all my uni memories just rushing through my head, i feel emotional but grateful i had the chance to live here
Almost every restaurant and cafes in Finland fit to different diets and allergies are taken into account. Because quite a few finnish people are actually lactose-intolerant or has celiac disease, there are often gluten-free and lactose-free options. More people nowadays are also vegan or vegetarian so almost every restaurant and cafe offers at least one vegan friendly option too. And we who do not have any special diets like our potatoes, berries and mushrooms too :)

No matter how busy I get I always make sure to watch your videos. I always enjoy your videos and they truly makes me so happy. Always going to support you. ♥️
I wasn't ready and so quite surprised to hear a French song that I really like in your video. That was really sweet. I'm watching from Paris :) 💗 Going to Helsinki soon! I can't wait
I'm a finn myself and even tho I've always loved the nature here and some little old cities and places like that, I've never really liked big cities but in this video you showed helsinki as a really nice and beautiful city
Hopefully you'll be able to visit Finland again in the future ^^ I highly recommend coming in December for the Christmas markets in Helsinki, Tampere & Turku (Turku has a lovely castle). And on the 13th December every year you have the Saint Lucia Day parade that starts from Helsinki Cathedral and proceeds down Aleksanterinkatu (the main shopping street). It's just so beautiful with all the Christmas lights (and hopefully snow!) I'd also recommend visiting the sea fortress Suomenlinna. And as for Lohikeitto, my favourite place is Lappi Ravintola. The decor is cosy, the food is lovely and if you want to try it, they also do a great reindeer filet!
@@caricakes Hopefully next time I'll catch your sns post about Finland before and not after your trip. So many recommendations that I could give you about the wonderful city of Helsinki! Including where you can find the Moomins (if you happen to be a fan of them), and the Karl Fazer cafe and shop (Finland's largest confectionery company)

Wow! What a beautiful video you put together of my home city. I’m so glad you enjoyed Helsinki🇫🇮🇫🇮
Loved this . Beautiful city must go there soon . Always a pleasure to watch your vlogs .
It's so cool to watch you walking the same streets in Helsinki as me! (I visited Helsinki few years ago - loved it!)
💕💕💕
This video came up in my recommendations. Glad you enjoyed Helsinki!
The atmosphere of this video is so nice and cozy, makes me want to visit Helsinki!
No matter how busy I get I always make sure to watch your videos. I always enjoy your videos and they truly makes me so happy. Always going to support you. ♥️
Gahhh thank you so so much!
I'm so glad the weather was so nice!
Me too!! It was perfect 😍
I'm half Finnish but have to stay in the UK because of the virus, this video has made me miss Finland more but also uplifted me at the same time :)
It's just so beautiful with all the Christmas lights (and hopefully snow!)
I'd also recommend visiting the sea fortress Suomenlinna. And as for Lohikeitto, my favourite place is Lappi Ravintola. The decor is cosy, the food is lovely and if you want to try it, they also do a great reindeer filet!
Sooooooo many reasons to go back 😍
@@caricakes Hopefully next time I'll catch your sns post about Finland before and not after your trip. So many recommendations that I could give you about the wonderful city of Helsinki!
Including where you can find the Moomins (if you happen to be a fan of them), and the Karl Fazer cafe and shop (Finland's largest confectionery company)
ahhh love all your travel videos :) would love a run through of how you plan your overseas trips, what you pack on the train etc.
I'm late, but this was just beautiful :) Thanks for sharing Cari! 💕
Thank you 🤧🤧🤧
