@@JakeOfAllTrades25 This not getting nominated and Porter not winning the Grammy for his Virtual Self nomination are such BS it's unbelievable. I never really care about awards for music or movies or whatever but I really really wish Porter got the recognition he so dearly deserves. This album, especially as a result of his 6-7 year journey making it and his struggle to create music after Worlds, is such a deeply personal and touching album that works so well and every song fits the sound of the world it's in perfectly.

This flew way under my radar dude Porter is one of my favorite artists
Nurture really is such a phenomenal album; I think what killed me about Wind Tempos and Dullscythe is they really seemed to illustrate that gnawing/self doubt inducing process of trying to find the right ideas, clicking through settings and samples for hours or days and nothing quite working…Even though I barely listen to those two in passing, they hella tipped the needle for me coming from Porter’s older EDM stuff (which is also phenomenal but I only recommend if you’re into like VERY much edm) to this
So glad you enjoyed it and I endorse the chat comments that mentioned Nurture Live - dude goes crazy on live productions

Seeing Porter perform this live Day 1 of Second Sky, first time playing it live, at the end of my first festival experience seeing some of my favorite artists and discovering new ones, right after Good Faith Live, was such an experience for me. I have wanted to see Porter since I found his music 6 years ago that I discovered and met my best friend by talking to him about this album. I have wanted to see him live for 6 years and never got a chance to go til this year's Second Sky. I really am not an emotional person, like at all, but this set made me tear up literally 8 times. Honestly even the first second he stepped on stage I teared about because I thought to myself "I finally am here seeing him live, perform one of my favorite albums of all time with a person I love." Such an amazing mix of hype music / live remixes of these songs along with slower emotional parts. Porter literally choked up and cried on stage during Mother on Day 1 and it was very moving to see how much everything he does means to him. I hope to god I can see Porter perform Nurture Live again, and I truly can't wait to hear what music he creates next.

Everyone in Fantanos chat that didn't like it would just say "play X artist" or "this is straight trash" and then you have people in this guys chat saying things like "I wish I liked this" and "I wish this clicked for me the way it does for y'all" like, what a great way to think about a track that you may not like.

I listened to Unfold for the first time while walking home from work on a lovely day on the day it dropped. There was a slight breeze in the air and I felt like I was floating. I went on to go to the last two Second Skys and each song grew further on me as I heard it live. Blossom and Sweet Time were written for his now-fiance and the man had to stop in the middle because he was so caught up in emotions about his then-GF that he mixed up the lyrics. It was the sweetest thing ever. They grew on me so much after that. They're just put together with such love.

I would love to see your thoughts on worlds as a full album and in relation to nurture. It’s the same as Nurture in the way that it fully transports you to it’s own world but it’s the exact opposite in that nurture is “natural” and focusing inward and worlds is “synthetic” and focusing outward. The difference between worlds and nurture really shows how much Porter has grown not only as an artist but as a human and I and I’m sure many others find that dichotomy deeply relatable on a personal level.
