I would suggest just start with the basics first! Fav pens, glue, scissors, watercolor and washi tape. But then this really depends on their budget because stationeries can cost alot especially if the person hoards!

im not too sure because i dont have a hobo weeks! but dont think that would be a good idea because it'll get super chunky with a hobo in it...
